    Service tips ,tricks and ideas

    Greetings

I was thinking it would be a good idea and helpful for all , to have one place to post any and all tips , tricks or ideas that worked , regardless of make or application. This would include hardware , software, web sights etc. For example , using manufactures "a" rollers in manufactures 'b" copier, or using software (___ ) to (____ ) .
I know many of these may have been posted but they are scattered throughout posts and brands and not always easy to find.
So what do you folks think and or suggestions.

    Thanks Much

You mean paraffin lamp oil? It's the closest thing to the magical Dispersant of old. Wondrous at removing adhesives, and not damaging drum or transfer belt coatings. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Forgot its referred to as kerosene over there. Yes that stuff.
I carry a bottle of that stuff with me since i got introduced to it for cleaning.
Works a treat on the high volume machine covers the inner ones to remove semi-fused toner.
Was wondering were this stuff should not go. But so far the only thing it seem i should not do is drink it.
              Whatever

I've heard of a people taking a tablespoon of Kerosene prior to the colds and flu season.

I wouldn't recommend orally consuming the unknown chemicals and heavy metals in the Kerosene.

Nope not drinking that that is what rum is for. Imagine how nice the machines would smell..

Turpentine oil of pine trees can be used to get rid of parasites.
Like half a teaspoon would make you feel it in your respiratory system and you mind goes slightly wonky for a day crosses the blood brain barrier to do its job.
Normally taken with sugar cubes as "bait".

Use your car battery to super magnetize you screwdrivers.
Then they will get stuck to the metal sheeting on the printers.
It will actually hang upsides down from metal shelves!

More like a prank then a trick i guess.

If you need to get to a screw deep inside the machine where there is a lot of metal...
