Suit, Overalls or Polo and Cargo Trousers?

The company I work for prefer you wear either a blue or white shirt, black or navy blue suit and black shoes. I myself am quite happy at wearing all this as it portrays a good image of myself and the company. I know this forum reaches all continents so what is the standard clothing of the copier egineer in other areas?

Casual dress, knit shirts and slacks.

    We have uniforms.

    Can't we just go barefoot?

Shirt and tie, pants, decent shoes. Haven't heard anything with regard to uniforms yet, however I'd like to be able to go back to a polo shirt!
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

        polo & cargo pants

I like it informal - less like sales more like tech. I have worn white button shirt, navy blazer, matching slacks type and it is respected more, but not comfortable to work in.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

Company shirt which they are supposed to supply but never have - or - white shirt, tie, and sport jacket... to work on black toner, moving machinery, and redneck customers (in my area anyway)
We generally ignore the company policy in favor of a nice dress shirt and slacks that hide toner stains - if you can wear a white shirt and tie you aren't working

Banana hammocks and helmets, but that's only on banana hammocks and helmets thursdays. Normal Polo shirt, dress casual slacks, and my slip on fancy brown shoes. (brown is more fashionable). Works well, I rarely spill anything on myself, other than food. Unless working on a color machine, the dusty beasts make my pants look like I was raped by the M&M's

Casual dress for the shop, polo shirts , decent pants. I get to go even more casual because I work the base. I can on occasion get away with a tee shirt if is military related. I can and will screw up the company issued white polo shirt on the first day out, so I gave up and bought myself a rack of black button up dress shirts and wear faded Levi's with them. Spring through fall, I and a cult following of customers celebrate Hawaiian shirt Friday.

Company supplies us with t-shirts, polos and shirts with the company logo. Jackets too. Jeans/slacks too, but the sizes don't fit me. Get a refresh once a year, not a whole wardrobe.

Still, as long as we aren't tatty, we are quite free to wear anything

we can basicly wear whatever we want, so there are just minor limitations, like wearing no shorts or clothes wich may look too strange for some people (like death metal band shirts or something like that^^)

                    I love my RTFM t-shirt

The usual: dress pants, dress shirt with embroidered logo, socks & no tie. All in the most practical color-black.

Watch out for those M&Ms. They've overpowered me on several occasions. =^..^=

Anything but jeans, shorts, or t-shirts. I always wear all black because I don't like toner and ink to show on my clothes, and normally wear button down collared shirts ... sometimes polo, but I prefer buttons. I do have the option of buying shirts with company logos, but I don't.

We wear smart casual, no shorts or t-shirts.

Management says wear a tie but we told them where to stick that idea and then floss!!!

Personally prefer dark short sleeve shirts, trousers and Magnum boots which have saved me a few times this week as people can't be bothered to clear their paths and car parks or put down salt.

Dress slacks with low cut tops and a push-up bra. Yes, female here. Male techs have to wear dress shirts and ties except for 'Casual Fridays' then it's logo polo shirts.

One of my fellow techs asked at a service meeting why I didn't have to wear a tie and then others chimed in about it as well. I promptly told him I would wear a tie when he puts on a bra. Silence, then hysterical laughter from the Service Manager.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

Employee handbook says collared shirts and slacks neatly pressed. Shirts must be either no logo, company logo, vendor logo, or CUSTOMER logo!

I dig this since one of our customers is the local Harley dealer, and another is my fav tattoo shop, and free shirts from both for the advertising!

                              Regards
