Since we only report confirmed cases on our dashboard, we have removed 3,484 previously reported probable cases from the statewide and Bexar County totals,” Chris Van Deusen, a spokesman for the state health agency, said to the Austin American-Statesman.


Texas is weird in it’s confirmed cases reporting.
3 Counties, for some reason, include “probable antigen” tests in their totals, but not the rest of the state? They are also including “antibody tests” in their totals!

I've said from the beginning;
1) - you can’t just keep retesting people and adding it to the total - that’s part of the reason we have such inflated numbers.
2) - Antibody testing should ONLY be used to see if someone may have had the virus, and SHOULD NOT be added to the “confirmed cases” category.
3) - With multiple states reporting “fraudulent numbers” (i.e. death by auto-accident but ruled Covid), completely faked/ over exaggerated numbers (Florida), or reductions in their totals again and again, can we even trust ANY of these numbers?
4) - With each state having it’s own reporting methods and a lot of states having poor reporting strategies, and using different tests in the totals for “confirmed” cases, the lack of uniformity really discredits things to a degree. That coupled with tainted tests and false positives discredits those numbers further.
5) - If you think China has lower numbers than we do, then you are HIGH AS FUCK on something (that you should share with the class if it’s that good!)
6) - UNLESS WE CAN TEST THE WHOLE POPULATION AT ONE TIME (to get numbers that are ACTUALLY ACCURATE), WE SHOULDNT BE TESTING PEOPLE AT ALL!
