But they didn't reject me. I was drafted early in 1970. After Basic and AIT I was sent to Vietnam. After doing my 2 year I was released from active duty.

In December 1982 I enlisted in the Army Reserves. In 2005, I deployed to Iraq. While there we had to deal with personnel from other countries, some of which allowed homosexuals. Their actions did create numerous problems. Of course you might enjoy having some queer open your shower door and say he like the look of your ass, but most US soldiers did not.

I am not a "liberal" or a "right-winger", I am an American who holds beliefs from both side of the spectrum so I guess that makes me an Independent. Pro-gun, pro-choice, want small fiscally responsible government and I want them out of my life for the most part. Place any label you would like.

The GOP is literally eating itself with this blatant bullshit. I don't care what political affiliation you are nobody should be defending removing the American flag from the Capital building, period!
well Sir I apologize for assuming your are a liberal .. but from some of your responses that was my take on it.

I am also pro-gun but I am a pro-life person... I also want a smaller fiscally responsible government and out of my life and back pocket ( Yeah I know good luck with the last two points.

Leave the FLAG alone and DO NOT fly a LGBT rainbow flag on the same flagpole that hold Old Glory.

Might I suggest you look into the Libertarian Party. I have considered them myself but they keep picking big government former Democrats as their Presidential candidates.

seeing how difficult it is to get another political party to have any REAL sway in the elections, I fear they are a long way off in making a difference.

the two party system fights tooth - nail and MONEY to keep it a two party system.

Maybe I should have been more specific, I assumed you would understand. It is not proven that BLM or antifa had anything to do with the trump inspired insurrection attempt

Another reason to hate Black Lives Matter:

"Black Lives Matter stands in solidarity with Palestinians," the group tweeted. "We are a movement committed to ending settler colonialism in all forms and will continue to advocate for Palestinian liberation. ( always have. And always will be ). #freepalestine."

More than 400 people in 40 states have been arrested in the federal investigation into the Jan. 6 attack, according to a USA Today tally. Four protesters died amid the violence, and about 140 officers from the Capitol Police and Metropolitan Police Department in Washington were injured by the mob, some while trying to protect members of Congress and Vice President Mike Pence after the building was breached.

The prison workers who were tasked with guarding Jeffrey Epstein when he committed suicide admitted to falsifying records but they will avoid jail because of the deal they struck with federal prosecutors.
Authorities said Friday that Tova Noel and Michael Thomas struck a deferred prosecution agreement with prosecutors after being charged with lying on prison records.
Epstein was awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City when he was found unresponsive in his cell in August 2019. He was under suicide watch and was supposed to be closely monitored to prevent the possibility of his taking his own life.
Under the agreement with the Justice Department, Noel and Thomas will be subject to a supervised release, will complete 100 hours of community service, and have to cooperate fully with a continuing investigation. The letter from federal prosecutors said the two "admitted that they 'willfully and knowingly completed materially false count and round slips regarding required counts and rounds'" related to Epstein's detention.

The indictment against Noel and Thomas said they fell asleep and shopped online for furniture and motorcycles instead of checking on Epstein every 30 minutes.
The incident was blamed on a persistent problem of staffing shortages at the Bureau of Prisons.
The bizarre circumstances surrounding his suicide have led to a plethora of conspiracy theories. Even Epstein's brother Mark Epstein has said publicly that he doesn't believe the official suicide story.
"Jeffrey knew a lot of stuff about a lot of people," he said.
Very soon after the death of Epstein, former President Donald Trump retweeted a claim that Hillary Clinton had the child molester murdered in order to protect her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

BREAKING: Georgia Judge Approves Audit Of 145,000 Absentee Ballots In Fulton County

A judge in Georgia unsealed roughly 145,000 absentee ballots from the November election for review in a Friday ruling.
The ballots must remain with Fulton County election officials throughout the audit, and the results of the review cannot impact the outcome of the November election, Henry County Superior Court Judge Brian Amero said. The plaintiffs in the case accepted the terms, saying that the review is still needed after controversial behavior by Fulton County election officials last year, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitutionlawsuitmore than 30 Georgia lawsuitsstatement:
