An interesting dynamic is at play in this debate. There's a price to pay if you're a conservative and say something stupid. We get ridiculed, canceled or whatever. But as a liberal there is no price to pay for lying or saying something stupid. It's quickly forgotten about and that's probably the reason that liberals keep lying and avoiding the truth.
