C'mon, dude. It's damn obvious that you and bsm2 don't have employment. Couple of lazy liberal bums.

You keep mentioning the "Republican Plan" to cut Social Security. But I happen to know the truth. The only thing that Republicans plan to cut from Social Security spending is welfare payments to those who have never paid into Social Security and excessive administrative costs. Through out history it has always been the Democrat who have tried to take Social Security benefits away from retired workers. From the time Social Security was first passed the Republicans have controlled the House only 12 times. And the Senate only 13 times and never had a filibuster proof control.

As originally passed, Congress was also supposed to match worker contributions, but the Democrat controlled House either never wrote a spending authorization bill to contribute it or if one was voted on in the House, it was killed in the Senate.

Then during the Administration of Lyndon B Johnson used the funds in the Social Security to balance the budget on paper. Congress then borrowed from the social security fund to finance other social programs not intended for the elderly. Note, they did not merge the funds, they merged the budgets. If Congress were to ever pay back the IOUs to Social Security there would be ample funds for the foreseeable future

Nah, he's just caught in the fantasy world of believing that republican politicians actually care about non billionaires.
