Like Trump tax returns where were U then?

At anytime during after Trump announced he was running for President then President Obama could have ordered the IRS to finalize the audit of Trump's tax returns and release the to the public but didn't. And over 2 years into the current administration the audits are still on going.

And in case you're wondering why President Trump didn't order them completed? Simple, for a sitting President to order that on going audits of his or her own taxes would be a major ethical violation and possibly an impeachable misdemeanor.
