Everything you post about Biden is tax and/or spend. Biden is the typical tax and spend socialist.

Dude, Canada only has 35 million people. Stop making excuses for Trudeau and put someone else in charge. He has failed. Clearly.

I think we can both agree that Trump was more successful with the covid rollout than Trudeua. Lets set our personal opinion aside for once and look at the data. The data says this is correct.

In North America, a politician's success is judged by the voters. Prime Minister Trudeau was re-elected. Trudeau has never been accused of any criminal activity.

In the USA, a significant majority of its citizens, in both the popular vote and the electoral college, choose not re-elect the ex President. The ex President is facing numerous criminal charges.

The ex President left office in disgrace with the highest COVID-19 infection and death rates in the world largely due to his denial of fact based science, his suppression of key gov't health agencies and his general incompetence in governing.

WATCH LIVE: White House Covid task force briefing — 2/5/2021 - YouTube

Press briefing by White House COVID-19 Response Team and public health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci.

                      - the US military will contribute 1,000 scaling up to 10,000 troops nation wide to provide critical manpower resources to assist in the vaccination of the general populations.

                      - peaks in deaths have declined to approx 3,000 per day.

                      - in the USA, the new J&J vaccine has an efficacy rate of 72%.

                      - the UK COVID-19 variant is increasing in the USA. This can only be controlled by doubling down on the public health guidances like masking and physical distancing and the efficient distribution of vaccines.

                      - the introduction of Tim Matting, the national coordinator of the supply chain response. Using the National Defence production act, the USA has committed to producing 1 billion Nitrile gloves within the USA by Dec 2021 per month. This will meet 50% of the national requirement. Currently, no gloves are produced in the USA. New factories and raw material production facilities have been immediately awarded contracts for construction.

                      - Granting Pfizer a US gov't Priority rating to acquire the equipment and ingredients it needs to greatly ramp up its production of COVID-19 vaccine. This priority supersedes all other commercial interests.

                      - the US gov't will add six more vendors to supply rapid COVID-19 testing kits for the home and workplace.

,.. I read a lot of squawking and trolling on this thread. I take the time to listen to the White House and Canadian COVID task force briefings every second day and report the actual news.

You don't come close to reporting actual news about Canada's vaccine rollout. I do that. You ignore it. Canada is among the worst countries in the world on their vaccine rollout. All you post is hollow promises by your beloved socialist party.

Diane Francis: Canadians deserve answers about botched vaccine roll-out

How much taxpayer money has been squandered on this failed vaccine deal with China?

                              Last week, I wrote

Any deal of that nature, if there ever was one, fell apart, and we are now left with a plethora of questions that Canadians deserve answers to.

Attention has been focused on China-based CanSino Biologics, which was founded by Yu Xuefeng, who got his PhD at McGill University and worked for Sanofi Pharmaceuticals in Toronto before returning to China to launch a vaccine company. He obtained an agreement with the National Research Council to use a Canadian-created cell line to develop a vaccine for Ebola and then SARS-CoV-2.

The coronavirus vaccine was to be tested at Dalhousie University in late May. But the test shipments were never sent. CanSino blamed Chinese customs for refusing to ship the vaccine to Canada for testing, but China has permitted other vaccine candidates to be shipped to other countries for testing, wrote Radio Canada International journalist Mark Montgomery in August.

Vaccine Task Force, which operated secretly for months and is riddled with conflicts.
Canadians are hopping mad about vaccine shortages because lives are at stake. They deserve answers.

Canada says tensions did not 'necessarily' end COVID-19 vaccine partnership with China

OTTAWA (Reuters) - The end to a partnership on a coronavirus vaccine between Chinese firm CanSino Biologics and Canada’s National Research Council was not “necessarily” tied to diplomatic tensions between the two countries, Canada’s foreign minister said on Thursday.

OTTAWA (Reuters) - The end to a partnership on a coronavirus vaccine between Chinese firm CanSino Biologics and Canada’s National Research Council was not “necessarily” tied to diplomatic tensions between the two countries, Canada’s foreign minister said on Thursday.

Canadian Foreign Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi for about 90 minutes on Tuesday in Rome, where he urged Beijing to release two Canadian citizens it has detained.
The two ministers also “discussed the importance of global collaboration in the face of COVID-19, including the search for a vaccine,” according to a statement.
The following day Canada’s National Research Council said it had ended its partnership on a coronavirus vaccine with CanSino because the company lacked the authority to ship the vaccine at this time.

“We are going through a difficult time” in bilateral relations, Champagne told reporters on a teleconference call from Beirut, “but I would not necessarily make a link between that discussion and the Canadian or the Chinese position.”
Ties between the two countries deteriorated in December 2018 after Canadian police detained Meng Wanzhou, chief financial officer of Huawei Technologies Co Ltd [HWT.UL], on a U.S. extradition warrant.
Soon after, China arrested Canadians Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig and charged them with spying. It also blocked imports of some canola seed.

The end of the vaccine collaboration had nothing to do with soured diplomatic relations, Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said at a daily news briefing earlier on Thursday.
Champagne also did not rule out collaboration with China or Chinese companies on health issues or COVID-19 in the future.
“When it comes to global health, when it comes to issues around global health and managing issues around COVID, I think it is wise for us to be talking to each other,” Champagne added.
