Re: Latest on the Corona Virus
That's true, but when you are only checking posts by 2 or 3 individuals over a given period of time takes very little time. I know because I have done so numerous times to locate things that were posted previously in order to remind everyone reading this thread of the facts. Facts that you and the other liberals hate.Comment

The Biden administration bent over and took it up the ass for China. Literally!!!
The Chinese government has promised to stop using anal swabs on American diplomats to test for COVID-19 after Washington complained that the practice was undignified, the U.S. State Department said.
Some Chinese regions have been ordering anal swabs for people under quarantine, including those who arrived from abroad. Authorities say the tests can avoid missing infections.

Delta passenger hit flight attendant after mask dispute, faces $27,500 fine, FAA says
DAWN GILBERTSON | USA TODAY | 4 hours ago
Some etiquette experts recommend letting the flight staff deal with a person refusing to wear a mask.
USA TODAY
A Delta Air Lines passenger is facing a $27,500 fine for allegedly striking a flight attendant in the face in October.
The Federal Aviation Administration on Friday announced the proposed civil penalty for an unnamed passenger traveling on a flight from Miami to Atlanta on Oct. 19.
The FAA says the passenger, who has 30 days to respond, was traveling with another passenger who refused to wear a mask, fasten his seat belt or put up the tray table. As a result, the flight returned to the gate, and the passengers were asked to get off the plane.
The passenger facing the fine ignored the flight attendant's instructions to leave the plane, began swearing at the flight attendant and then struck her under her left eye, the agency says.Comment

Canada partners with India-based company to secure more AstraZeneca jabs
Canada's vaccine rollout received a significant boost Friday with the approval of a third COVID-19 inoculation, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced another partnership with an India-based institute that will deliver two million additional doses of the newly authorized jab to Canadians by the spring.
Trudeau spoke on Friday hours after Health Canada announced it had approved a COVID-19 vaccine from AstraZeneca.
The new partnership also means Canada will receive two million doses of the CoviShield vaccine, which is the same as AstraZeneca's product, through an agreement with Mississauga, Ont.'s Verity Pharmaceuticals and the Serum Institute of India.
Trudeau says the first shipment of half a million of CoviShield doses will arrive by March.
Health Canada's chief medical adviser Dr. Supriya Sharma said in a briefing Friday that the CoviShield and AstraZeneca products are "for all intents and purposes" the same vaccine.
The difference is in where they are manufactured, she said, using the analogy of the same recipe made in two different kitchens.
The two million doses of CoviShield are in addition to the 20 million doses Canada already secured with AstraZeneca that will start arriving in the spring.
Trudeau said as vaccinations ramp up across the country, many provinces have expanded the number of health professions able to administer a COVID-19 vaccine, and he asked for dentists, midwives, pharmacy technicians and retired nurses to lend a hand in the rollout.
... Canada has now acquired more doses per citizen than any other country in the world.Comment

The U.S. is "nowhere close" to achieving herd immunity from Covid, a CDC scientist said Friday.
The proliferation of new, more contagious virus strains requires a higher proportion of the population to get vaccinated.
The outbreak could get worse as immunity decreases over time among vaccinated individuals or those who have recovered from Covid.Comment
