Mississippi health officials plea for vaccination after 'significant' number of COVID-19 fatalities in pregnant women

Mississippi health officials are urging expectant mothers to get vaccinated after a "significant" number of COVID-19 fatalities in pregnant women during the state's delta surge.


The state health department is investigating eight reports of pregnant women who died from COVID-19 in the past four weeks, all of whom were unvaccinated, Mississippi State Health Officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs said at the top of a COVID-19 briefing Wednesday.


"We do know that COVID is especially problematic and dangerous for pregnant women," Dobbs said. "We also know it can be deadly for the baby in the womb."


Compared to the rate pre-pandemic, the health department has seen a "doubling of the rate of fetal demise, or the death of the baby in the womb after 20 weeks," Dobbs said. "It's been a real tragedy."

In Denmark they have lifted all covid restrictions and life is completely back to normal. 73% of adults have both shots and over 90% seniors are fully vaccinated. The science says that covid will seek out the unvaccinated and that will go on until they die off or become immune.

At least that's what I read. Sounds about right to me.

When the government forces private business to mandate the vaccine, that is forcing the people to get the vaccine or they'll find themselves living on the street. Please.

If that's the way it works, how about this? Abortion can be legal in all 50-states but it cost $1-million dollars. That's a choice. How do you like it?

2. Federal workers are being told to get vaccinated or get fired.
3. Companies with more than 100 employees are being told to require all their employees to be vaccinated or be fined.

In my book, risking being fired is not a valid choice.

Get the Vaccine or get tested weekly I wonder what people will do this. Plus Companies DON'T want workers that are NOT Vaccinated.

Companies are Already requiring NEW employees to be Fully Vaccinated as a new hire. Just like drug testing

... the train has left the station on this one. You are either onboard and vaccinated or left behind. The only thing that prevents a person from getting on board that train is themselves.
