A colleague sneezed while helping me pick up a copier yesterday, not at me, but neither of us had face masks and I don't have a covid test at home.
Should I panic ? Would you?

If you are both vaccinated, no worries. If neither person is vaccinated one of you likely inhaled the others airborne droplets and have needlessly put yourself at risk.

He didn't bring anything "under better control". Not the virus, the economy, the border, China, Russia, etc., etc.

The majority of Americans are just not scared of Covid anymore. It took a lot of them way too long to figure out that 99.97% of us will be fine, and now they realize that.
To top it off, they have seen how damaging and tyrannical "emergency pandemic powers" have been to our country and it's citizens, and they're fed up with it and over it!

Even Jerome Powell at the Fed, has said all of the "Covid assistance" has had a negative effect on the economy and peoples' livelihoods. He is going to be ending a lot of the stimulus so as not to add to the ever-growing rate of inflation. Smart move Powell!

Thanks but I was expecting something a bit more pessimistic from the doom and gloom poster of copytechnet.

I'm not, someone I used to work with has got it and claims it's not as nasty as the bad reaction he had to the first jab.

That's your choice, we have a couple at work out of about 20 who have refused, I see it as their choice and would hate to see some company legislation against it.

Wow a pill that Really Works

Britain became the first country on Thursday to authorize the use of an antiviral pill for Covid-19, an easy-to-use treatment that could help tame the pandemic.

The drug, known as molnupiravir and sold by the pharmaceutical company Merck, was shown in a key clinical trial to reduce by half the risk of hospitalization and death in high-risk Covid patients who were treated early in their infections. Dispensed from a pharmacy and taken at home, the drug is expected to reach many more people than treatments like monoclonal antibodies, which are typically administered intravenously at a hospital or clinic.

Britain, which has already ordered enough supplies of the pill for 480,000 people, is one of a growing list of wealthy countries that have raced to lock up supplies of the drug.
