Please try to keep up. We weren't discissing whether covid deaths were being compiled honestly or not. We were discussing whether people had been jailed because of defying covid rules.
And Billy was slapped down as usual.

Out of curiosity, does Canada exaggerate the figures? I know the UK and USA does, the NHS in England even stated if covid is suspected it's marked as another one.

And to the point of your post(s)......many people have been jailed for defying Covid Rules, both in your country and mine. and around the world!

Not to mention all the Fines handed down to Canadians who were already struggling financially and mentally. I believe the latest report said something like 6 - 12 MILLION dollars in fines so far. Not a bad racket for the Canadian government!

Quebec leads the way so far, with more than 3,000 fines, per the report. Ontario comes second with 930 reported fines, followed by Nova Scotia with 516 and Alberta with 44.

Probation is not jail time.
Choosing to stay just because you don't want to follow release conditions doesn't count either.
Fines are not jail time.

I don't know. And honestly I don't put a lot of thought into it.
Covid is real. And people who choose to remain unvacinated, no matter there political leanings, are extending the pandemic.
That's the main things I put any thought into.
