Two cases of Omicron COVID variant have been confirmed in Ontario, Canada today. A couple had travelled from Nigeria before the travel ban took effect.

It is not yet known if Omicron is more deadly than the pre-dominat COVID-19D or iif Omicron can be effectively controlled with current vaccines.

Weird that Biden lifted the travel ban on African and South African nations just 20 days ago!!! AND NOW WE HAVE A 'NEW VARIANT OF CONCERN', and subsequently a new travel ban on those same nations!
The timing really makes one wonder.

We all knew that those democratic governors, and communists around the globe didn't want to let go of their "emergency pandemic powers" just yet! They have midterms to cheat in here at home!

Another weird statement about this 'New variant' from the WHO has me scratching my head.......:

So, while many countries across the globe have now re-instituted travel bans from South Africa...the World Health Organization says...."No, don't ban travel from Africa.....even though we KNOW NOTHING about how potentially deadly or transmissible this variant is." What in the actual Fuck!!??

They expect us to let Omicron infected travelers into our countries FOR WEEKS until they "can better understand the variant"........I say....FUCK THAT! Keep them in their own damn country.


Side note: Scientists have already stated that this variant is at least TWICE as transmissible as the Delta variant, and so far seems to be a lot milder. Wonder where they got that info from? It definitely wasn't the WHO!!

Top 5 states with most daily COVID cases are now blue states, bottom 5 are mostly red



As of Monday, Michigan has the highest daily rate of new cases per 100,000 residents with 85, according to the New York Times, followed by New Hampshire with 73, New Mexico with 67, and Vermont and Minnesota both with 61. All the states in the top five voted for president Biden in the 2020 election.


When looking at that statistic over a weeklong period ending this past Sunday, Minnesota leads the nation with 426 new cases per 100,000 residents, followed by Michigan with 388.6, Wisconsin with 387.7, North Dakota with 361.5 and New Hampshire with 360.2, data from the CDC shows. All the states in the top five voted for president Biden in the 2020 election.

On the other end of the chart, Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Hawaii and Florida round out the states with lowest daily rate of new cases per 100,000 residents, with numbers ranging from 8 to 3, the New York Times reports. All but one of the states in the bottom five voted for Donald Trump in the 2020 election.


In the CDC’s weekly metric, Hawaii, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana and Florida comprise that group.
