As someone born and lived in nyc or right outside of nyc,1st The mayor of nyc is a total a hole...
The ship that came to nyc is older and not equipped "air locks"and really could not be used for covid but was intended to move
existing NON covid hospital patients out of the existing hospitals..
Why they never did that could be incompetence,lack of available ambulances,EMTs etc etc....
OUR governor also is without any merit...
He has a history of everything he touches turns to shit...
He does not think outside the box nor does he "just get it done"..
His brother is another a hole chris cuomo,out and about in the hamptons while infected with covid 19...

I'd give you two thumbs up, but only have the option for one. My brother lives in the south hamptons and said every 1% is out there using all the resources, clogging up the roads, etc.

The locals should be used to the weekend privilege crowd sucking up the resources as it happens from MAY TO SEPT every year...
You would think being inside your fancy mansion would keep them from wandering out with the general public...I guess they need photo ops
to post on facebook..uggggh
I myself hate having to go into a store and try to time during empty hours,but with most not working there are not many empty hours anywhere..

I will say here a lot of less crowded states have not even seen any major blow of this disease and i hope they never do but when it happens it will
move fast and i dont think anyone would stop it..............I wont harp on this but stay sharp because any miscue can be costly...

As a cautionary example of inflating the potential value of a therapy, some pointed to President Donald Trump’s repeated endorsements of malaria drug hydroxychloroquine.

Since the White House was not planning a daily virus briefing, Fauci said he was invited to release the news at a news conference with Louisiana Gov. Dr. Steven Nissen, the chief academic officer at the Cleveland Clinic. “Am I encouraged from what I’ve heard? Yes, I’m encouraged. But I want to get a full understanding of what happened here, and not get it via a photo opportunity from the Oval Office.”

Remdesivir shows promising results for coronavirus, Fauci says
There were indications the drug led to fewer deaths, but that part of the analysis is still under review.
Remdesivir is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, and has not been proven as an effective treatment for patients with the coronavirus. Results from other trials are expected in the coming weeks.
