Months before Florida leaders had any clue, coronavirus was creeping through the state

It was March 1 when Florida announced its first two cases of the novel coronavirus, a 29-year-old Hillsborough County woman who had traveled to Italy and a 63-year-old Manatee County man. But buried in data recently published by the Florida health department is an intriguing revelation: The spread of COVID-19 in Florida likely began in January, if not earlier.

State health officials have documented at least 170 COVID-19 patients reporting symptoms between Dec. 31, 2019, and February 29, according to a Miami Herald analysis of state health data. Of them, 40% had no apparent contact with someone else with the virus. The majority had not traveled, meaning it was "community spread" at this point.

At least 26 people who contracted COVID-19 started showing symptoms in late December or January.


So, once again, for those in the back.........The virus was already here, and there was literally nothing we could have done to "stop the spread" (Except for having "honest communists" - which we all know is an oxymoron).

Americans who have grown to trust the COVID-19 task force’s Dr. Anthony Fauci may feel gut-punched to discover he’s been linked to the Wuhan Lab that spawned the killer virus. More specifically he’s been linked to the bat study that supposedly spawned the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to reports, the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) threw financial support behind researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology to conduct laboratory research that connected three significant items — bats, coronaviruses, and what is known as “gain-of-function” outcomes.
Reputable scientists have been extremely critical of gain-of-function manipulation because it focuses on the potential for a virus to jump from animals to human beings. Dr. Fauci reportedly led the NIAID while supplying the financial resources for what appears to be the spark that lit the COVID-19 pandemic.
Republican members of Congress are demanding an investigation into the link between U.S. taxpayer grants to health organizations and the money trail that ends at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Pennsylvania Rep. Guy Reschenthaler has been increasingly vocal that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Fauci-led NIAID siphoned American tax dollars to the EcoHealth Alliance in a shell game that helped the China lab pay to create the contagion.
“We know that. That’s coming from the Intel Community. We also know that the NIH in a letter to EcoHealth stated that they believe — this is again the NIH letter I’m stating — that they believe the virus may have originated in the lab,” Rep. Reschenthaler reportedly said. “If it originated in a lab and somehow leaked from the lab, we shouldn’t be funding labs that study virology and weapons of mass destruction in terms of biological weapons. We shouldn’t fund these labs unless they have procedures in place where the disease won’t leak out and kill 60,000 Americans and hundreds of thousands around the world.”
Democrats, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are stonewalling congressional investigations into the origin of COVID-19 and whether the taxes of hard-working Americans were used. Information has surfaced that NIAID prompted the NIH to commit at least $3.7 million for six years of research into gain-of-function studies in 2019. That program was funded after a $3.7 million taxpayer investment ran out that directly studied bat-coronavirus pathogens.
It’s sickening to discover that Americans may have unwittingly supplied upwards of $7.4 million to create the worst pandemic of the 21^st Century. Adding insult to injury, the World Health Organization took approximately $900 million from the U.S. over the last decade only to perpetuate China’s Communist Party lies about COVID-19.
Dr. Fauci has been a focal point in the COVID-19 task force response during live briefings. He reportedly declined to comment when pressed on his links to the money trail between taxpayer-funded grants and the Wuhan labs. However, he once defended the very research that may have unleashed the plague.
“Determining the molecular Achilles’ heel of these viruses can allow scientists to identify novel antiviral drug targets that could be used to prevent infection in those at risk or to better treat those who become infected,” Dr. Fauci reportedly co-wrote in a Washington Post article in 2011. “Decades of experience tells us that disseminating information gained through biomedical research to legitimate scientists and health officials provides a critical foundation for generating appropriate countermeasures and, ultimately, protecting the public health.”
Three years after that article, the Obama administration and the NIH shut down such research, including Fauci’s potentially life-threatening gain-of-function study pending advanced government approval. Transparency about bat, coronavirus, and gain-of-function research may explain why taxpayer dollars were funneled to China and away from U.S. oversight.
Everyday Americans may need to ask themselves whether Dr. Fauci is an American patriot combatting the spread of COVID-19 or a type of pyromaniac who shows up to play the hero by putting out the fire he started.

Here in Kern County a break down of cases by ethnic groups reveals that Hispanics comprise over 65% of those infected. Caucasians, whites, were the second largest group at just over 18%. My guess is that the Hispanic community tends to larger families with closer knit neighborhoods leading to faster infection rate. As social distancing spreads I expect the differences for new infection to tend to equalize.

The difference between genders breaks down to 52.1% male vs 47.9% female. Not certain if this a significant as the actual population ratio is not given.
