Two more House members announced Wednesday they have tested positive for Covid-19 and are isolating, the latest in a string of diagnoses that have hit Capitol Hill.

The cases brings CNN's tally to 26 House members and eight senators that have so far tested positive or been presumed positive.

Nice if its waterproof Its probably goretex you can google the number on the label to find out, it could be worth some money but if I were you I would keep it.

It is goretex. I also have a pair of goretex pants in a foot lockers somewhere in my storage room and a pair of goretex lined boots.

A new U.S. Navy study published last week in the New England Journal of Medicine identified serious challenges for COVID-19 control in group living environments like warships, merchant vessels, prisons and dormitories.
In the study, scientists from the Naval Medical Research Center and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai followed a cohort of nearly 2,000 new Marine Corps recruits as they passed through a carefully controlled induction process on the campus of The Citadel in South Carolina. The data showed asymptomatic spread of the virus even under strict military control, despite higher personal compliance with preventive measures than would be possible in most civilian settings
The researchers found that daily temperature and symptom checks did not detect infections.
That few infected recruits had symptoms before diagnosis;
That transmission occurred despite implementing many best-practice public health measures (like mask-wearing, social distancing and regular handwashing).

According to that study masks are not 100% effective. They are only 98% effective. Another example of Republicans propaganda.

A new study from Danish researchers found that mask-wearers were not protected from becoming infected by the novel coronavirus more than their mask-less counterparts, contradicting the mainstream consensus, including that of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The study was comprised of 4,862 total participants; about half were directed to wear masks in public, and the other half were told not to.
