Eventually people are going to realize wearing a mask is an inconvenience, not tyranny.

Moderna'''s vaccine has a significant advantage over Pfizer'''s

      Moderna announced this morning
That's good news. Considering the average time to develop a vaccine we're lucky to find 2 so quickly.

That proves the USA is by far and away the most advanced in medicine. And Trump deserves a lot of credit for cutting thru the red tape and funding. Trump put 2 billion in Moderna. But haters gonna hate. They'd rather hate Trump than give credit.

I think any gov't in power when faced with a pandemic would have been extremely generous in its research grants to biotechnology firms to develop a vaccine as quickly as possible.

Similar actions have been demonstrated by other govt's around the world with work in progress.

If Hillary Clinton was President there is no reason to think she would not have done something similar.

President Trump does deserve credit for making the Federal funds available to Operation WarpSpeed. It will be President Biden who oversees the management and distribution of any vaccines.

Over a million children under 18 have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the United States since the start of the pandemic, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association said Monday.

Re: Latest on the Corona Virus

Should any COVID-19 vaccine approved by the FDA be considered mandatory in the USA in a country that cannot agree to wear a mask?

Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be first distributed to essential workers, first responders and those living in assisted care facilities.

For the general population a vaccine is not expected in wide distribution until April- May.

You must be talking about Canadians refusing to wear a mask. You never tell the truth about your own country. See below and then you can make excuses.

We wouldn't mandate a vaccine here for everyone, live free or die is one states motto. How anti-vaccine they are or how much it costs will probably play a factor whether they average person takes. But yes, hospital staff, the enlisted, or school staff won't have a choice. We'll see what the rest of the people do around April or May.

Thankfully they're mandating masks in my state now. Hope many more do the same!

Using a video of about 10 people in early July as an argument that 99.99% of Canadians refuse to wear a mask is dishonest cherry picking of media to support your personal bias.

The video was recorded in Toronto which is currently under Canada's most severe Red condition for COVID-19 where both non essential travel and hours of business are restricted.

Sounds a lot like your tactics, eh? Or better yet, you just make statements with NOTHING to support it. What percentage of Americans don't wear masks? Provide some kind of proof to support your claims. Practice what you preach.

Everywhere I go folks are wearing a mask. You're up in Canada listening to the media.

The US Federal Gov't apparently does not have the legal power to require all citizens to get a vaccine.

State and municipal gov'ts have much more power and can mandate mandatory vaccination.

Employers, as a condition of employment, can mandate that anyone entering their premises must present proof of vaccination.

People who object on religious beliefs or disabilities may be able to work from home.

On the current track that COVID-19 is ripping through the USA, the majority of the population will be desperate to get a vaccine. Same for around the world.

You made my own point. "Everywhere I go folks are wearing a mask" except for a bunch of Republican lawmakers who are close to Trump.
