I understand that, but justifying deaths by stating other countries have deaths as well is simply sticking ones head in the sand.

And comparing the USA with other countries is equally misleading. You can't compare the USA to Canada, for instance. It's apples & oranges.

...it is more like apple sauce where both Canada and the USA enjoy many benefits as the world's largest trading partners.

With Biden no more silly trade wars with Canada.

I expect Canada and the USA will co-operate to the very best of their abilities to find a way to contain COVID-19 and one day find a vaccine. Health Canada, CDC and the FDA can resume their medical research without political interference.

There are actually at least 4 common human corona virus infestions, types 229E, NL63, OC43, and HKU1 that are often diagnosed and treated as the common cold.
