Japan has 1755. They're doing something right.

It's obvious that you do no research and don't have an idenpendent thought in your head. You think Japan did a good job? Me too. How did they do it? Japan's plan damn sure didn't resemble anything that the dems are proposing. Let's take a look:

Japan’s state of emergency is set to end with new cases of the coronavirus dwindling to mere dozens. It got there despite largely ignoring the default playbook.

No restrictions were placed on residents’ movements, and businesses from restaurants to hairdressers stayed open. No high-tech apps that tracked people’s movements were deployed. The country doesn’t have a center for disease control. And even as nations were exhorted to “test, test, test,” Japan has tested just 0.2% of its population — one of the lowest rates among developed countries.

Yet the curve has been flattened, with deaths well below 1,000, by far the fewest among the Group of Seven developed nations. In Tokyo, its dense center, cases have dropped to single digits on most days. While the possibility of a more severe second wave of infection is ever-present, Japan has entered and is set to leave its emergency in just weeks, with the status lifted already for most of the country and Tokyo and the remaining four other regions set to exit Monday.

Analyzing just how Japan defied the odds and contained the virus while disregarding the playbook used by other successful countries has become a national conversation. Only one thing is agreed upon: that there was no silver bullet, no one factor that made the difference.

“Just by looking at death numbers, you can say Japan was successful,” said Mikihito Tanaka, a professor at Waseda University specializing in science communication, and a member of a public advisory group of experts on the virus. “But even experts don’t know the reason.”

I'm glad to see someone admit Japan did a good job.
But I didn't read anything in your response that pointed to Japans success. It's no secret, it's because everyone wears a mask and they social distance themselves. Everywhere they go, everything they do, they all wear masks.

Which candidate is telling everyone to wear a mask?
Which candidate is mocking the other for wearing a mask?

Japan has thermometer devices setup at most business, if your temp is high the door don't open. No arguments, no exceptions.
Biden is proposing spending whatever it takes, I wouldn't be surprised to see these devices everywhere if he is elected. On the other hand, Trump's people say we aren't going to contain this virus.

I'm glad that you agree that we should follow Japan's plan and allow restaurants and hair salons to open. In fact, there's should be no restrictions on anything. That's what Japan did. You're a good man for admitting that dems should abandon their current policy and follow Japan's lead. Good man.

Starting this Monday, the Uk and many countries in the European Union have announced they intend for a second time to lock down their countries for 30 days in an effort to contain COVID-19.

Germany, France, Belgium and Greece have all announced new lockdowns and restrictions starting this Monday.

England will enter national lockdown as UK coronavirus cases surge - CNN

The UK announced 1M infections within the country with 46,500 deaths.

The USA has 8M infections and 230,000 deaths.

The strict lockdown will see the closure of pubs, restaurants and non-essential businesses, including hair salons and gyms. Schools, universities and playgrounds will stay open.

People will only be able to leave their homes for specific reasons: education, work (if they are unable to work from home), to shop for food, for health reasons, or for exercise and recreation outdoors, either with that person's household or with one person from another household.

The government is discouraging all non-essential travel, though people will still be able to travel abroad for work, providing they follow England's quarantine rules upon their return.

In Obama's first few days in office he said to republicans: " We won, you lost, deal with it."

It was very clear that Obama wasn't interested in working with republicans. They ran roughshod over republicans because at the time they controlled every branch of government. Then the dems got shellacked in the mid-terms and we stopped Obama's liberal agenda. Facts matter.

I wonder, could it possibly be that the Japanese people tend to lead healthier life styles and eat healthier diets? If you look at all the numbers Japan has a survivability rate for those that have been infected of 98.25%. The survivability rate for the world as a whole has an overall rate of 99.741%

You're a smart man. I started to bring this up. The USA is obese and unhealthy and Japan is fit and very healthy.

Obese people, drug addicts and cigarette smokers should be cut off from govenment healthcare unless they change their habits.

Yeah Doris Johnson has gone back on his word and put more jobs at risk, but I really wonder is the public going to take this lying down, there have been many protests in London about lockdowns, even the WHO say in the long run they don't work.

BLM and Antifa are both super-spreaders of the virus. Covid doesn't care why they were protesting. Don't be a rube.,
