Where I live, pubs must stopping serving food or beverage by 10:00 PM. All patrons must exit the premises by 11:00 PM.

You must wear a mask at all times within the pub except when you are seated.

If you have to go to the restroom, you need to wear a mask.

Chairs at the bar must be socially distanced by 6 feet.

There is no mingling at the bar nor dancing permitted.

These rules seem to be working well and bar owners are grateful for the revenue.

And nobody ever get totally shitfaced before 10:00 PM and no one ever gets infested with SARS-CoV-2 before 11:00 PM. Do they have guards in the bathrooms to verify that you keep your mask on and that 2 or more people don't hook up in a bathroom? And if the rules were not working would anyone be reporting it? Wake up idiot.

That's all very well for someone that goes to a pub has a couple of drinks and goes home, how is a small country pub going to enforce these rules on drunk people, I can see the larger chains having problems. Maybe it's different here, a lot of British people go to the pub and get drunk.

.... like it, lump it, here it's the law if you want to keep your restaurant and bar license. Big bar, small bar, small village bar the same rules apply regardless of the economics of the business.

For those at home keeping score: In Oakland, Ca., they're giving out money to blacks and POC but whites are excluded. In Vermont, they're giving out vaccine and only whites are excluded. And we have white liberas that don't have a problem with it. This country is going to shit under Biden. A Civil War is coming.
