    Rant! Answer the @&#$ phone

Must be just me, when somebody call for service support, leave the direct line. Don't put me through the convoluted PBX voice service.

    Crikey! Dumbasses

"computers not printing, some of them"
me: how is it my problem
    Me: ok I will call
Pbx: press 1 if you are bored
    Me: annoyance meter building
Pbx: press 2 to not talk to anyone
    Me: learnt phone throwing technique
    Pbx: press 3...voice mail
    Me: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Many systems if you repeatedly press zero "0" you'll get rolled over to a human operator!!![emoji15]

You write it so funny... I can't stand
Congrats! You just have made out of your frustration someone to actually laugh.
      Please forgive me

Re: Rant! Answer the @&#$ phone

I recently have a customer that filters his calls (won't answer my calls). so naturally I don't go there. But he does have time to email the office 10 times a day asking when I'll get there. Each time he doesn't answer he slides back down to the bottom of my priority list. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

We have certain customers... I won't name names.
There is a jam that they can't find, because they won't look at the pictures on the control panel, telling them where the jam is.
They call our service department to say we need to go over right away and fix it.
A tech sees the call come up and tries to call the customer (within 5 - 10 minutes of the customer's call).
"Sorry, we are closed, leave a message".
