well we all knew it was just a short amount of time till she passed. I didn't care for her, but I feel heartbroken for any family she had left .

My Mom passed in 2017 --Dad in 2005, I think of them and miss them daily.

Buckle up. The election just got ratcheted up a notch. Now the left will really lose their mind.

President Donald Trump must nominate a new justice to the Supreme Court, and Mitch McConnell and the Senate must confirm that nominee this year. The McConnell rule does not preclude election year replacement when the Senate and White House are controlled by the same party

frankly I think talk like this at this time, is in rather bad taste.

There's no better way to honor RGB than by living up to her standards for appointing a justice to the SCOTUS.

This is what she said when Obama nominated someone in an election year:

Asked if Senate had an obligation to assess Judge Garland's qualifications, RBG's answer was immediate."That's their job," she said. "There's nothing in the Constitution that says president stops being president in his last year."

The NEXT President should make the appointment but we all KNOW what Moscow Mitch ,Trump and the Republicans will do

McConnel's policy has been to never vote on filling The Court in an election year if the Senate is controlled by the other party. That's not the case here.

Besides, this is RGB wish. Or that's what she said. Does that matter to you?

Let me put this in context for you.

RGB could have stepped down under Obama and you'd have a liberal on the high court. She thought that Hillary couldn't lose. She gambled and lost that one.

RGB is on record in how she thinks the country should move forward in an election year when it comes to filling her seat.

                      What do I want?

I want Trump to fill the seat tomorrow. No shame here.

                      Carry on.

I find it difficult to understand why anyone would want their Supreme Court to be biased in either left or right. Judges are supposed to be impartial, this should be doubled down for Supreme Court judges

You have a fundamental misunderstanding for how The Court works. Some judges believe that The Constitution is a "living and breathing" document that can be bent to fit the times we live in. That would be liberal judges.

Others believe The Constitution should be interpreted as it was written. That would be Conservative Justices.

It's NOT about bias. It's about the way The Constitution is interpreted.
