House Dems Couldn’t Wait To Take Shots At The Second Amendment
Charlotte, NC — The 117th Congress wasn’t in session a whole day before the Democrats fired their first volley against the Second Amendment. The House has seven new gun control bills to consider from three representatives, all filed on the first full day of business. While there have not yet been any introduced to the Senate, with a Democrat trifecta in the Swamp, it seems a safe bet the issue will make it to the upper chamber sooner rather than later. Bobby Rush, Traffic Cop?
Representative Bobby L. Rush (D-IL) introduced H.R. 30, a bill to “increase public safety by punishing and deterring firearms trafficking.” Rush’s Gun Trafficking Prohibition Act amends already existing federal laws regarding trafficking.
Chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, establishes in federal law who can receive or send firearms across state and national borders, as well as the licensing requirements and punishments for violating any of the rules. Rush’s bill increases the penalty cap for most offenses from ten years in prison to 15 and a few to 25.
It also broadens the scope of what would be considered trafficking. By reworking Section 924(h) and adding the new sections 932, 933, and 934, this bill would establish new conditions under which a firearm or ammunition transfer would be considered trafficking under federal law – and explicitly states that this applies in all cases, regardless of state laws.
Currently, the law prohibits any dealer from transferring a firearm or ammunition to anyone they know intends to commit a crime of violence. Rush’s amendment would widen that to receiving or transferring guns or ammo if there’s even a “reasonable cause to believe” that they may be used illegally.
Sections 932 and 933 establish the lists of prohibited persons and a few new transfer conditions that would fall under trafficking. Rather than requiring a conviction, now transferring a gun or ammo to anyone even under indictment for a crime – misdemeanor or felony – that can be punished by imprisonment of more than one year or was of a violent nature would be considered illegal.
Things get interesting in the new Section 934. Anyone convicted of a violation in the new sections 932 or 933, regardless of any state law, would also forfeit to the U.S. government any property used to facilitate the transfer. Ordered online? There goes the computer. Transported it yourself? Bye-bye car or truck.
Closing The ‘Loophole’
Democrats often bemoan what they call the gun show loophole. The idea is that if you go to a gun show, you can buy firearms without having a background check. That’s both true and false. Any dealer at a gun show will be licensed and will do a background check. However, unless otherwise prohibited by state or local laws, an individual can buy or sell a firearm outside the gun show, just as they could anywhere else.
It is exactly this type of private transfer Representative Al Green (D-TX) is targeting with his latest gun control measure. H.R. 167 is currently titled “To prohibit the transfer of a firearm at a gun show by a person who is not a federally licensed firearms dealer.” There is no text, summary, or short title yet – but the long title makes the purpose of the bill quite clear. How exactly Green intends to regulate these private transactions remains to be seen, but this may well be another push for a federal universal background check.
Rep. Sheila Lee, Busy As A Bee
Another Texas Democrat, Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, fired off five bills of her own on Jan. 4. There is no text yet available for these bills, but the long titles are descriptive enough.
Under current law, the FBI has three days to complete a background check. If there isn’t a nigh instant response, the check will be in delayed status – and if the delay isn’t resolved in three days, the sale can go through. That said, very few gun dealers are willing to process the sale without a clear background check because of the risk of lawsuits later. Still, it can – and supposedly does – sometimes happen. H.R. 135 would require the director of the FBI to report to Congress semiannually. The report would include any firearm transfers to people who later turned out to be ineligible because the background check wasn’t completed within three business days.
Lee also introduced H.R. 125, which would require a seven-day waiting period before anyone could take home a semiautomatic firearm, a silencer, armor-piercing ammunition, or a large-capacity magazine. H.R. 127 would institute a federal licensing program of some sort. Without bill texts available, it’s unclear exactly what form this would take. However, the title implies that there would be a license required to buy any gun or ammo, that some ammo would be prohibited entirely, and that all firearms would have to be added to a federal registry.
Lee’s H.R. 130 aims to establish a nationwide safe storage law, requiring firearms and ammunition to be stored in whatever manner the Democrat deems proper. The bill would also require any report of improper storage to be investigated. As for the enforcement of all these new laws, H.R. 121would order the hiring of an additional 200 agents and investigators for the ATF.
Who Cares About The Details?
With detailed texts unavailable for all but one of these bills, it’s difficult to understand the full scope of what gun control may be coming down the pike – but coming it is. While the details are of vital importance to the individual citizen, they won’t likely contribute much to whether these bills pass or fade away. With Democrats effectively in control of the House, the Senate, and the presidency, there’s a good chance each of these bills will become federal law sooner rather than later.
This is how Hitler got all those folks in the boxcars, then into the gas chambers.Comment

And after all that time and money the unions put into his campaign! Bet they are pissed at BackstabbingJoe now! Will he make @AOC his energy Czar now?
Before His First Day Is Out, Biden Nukes 8,000 Union Jobs
Democrats are uniquely deft at destroying the American economy, but President Joe Biden just might shatter the record for the fastest time to do so.
After taking the oath of office Wednesday, Biden was expected to sign several executive ordersrescind the permit for TC Energy to build the Keystone XL pipeline that may be the largest hit to the economy, costing as many as 11,000 Americans their jobs, including 8,000 union positions. (Those figures come from an October TC news release estimating the number of jobs that pipeline construction would add to the economy in 2021.)
The project would have injected $1.6 billion in gross wages into the U.S. economy in 2021 at a time when jobs are most needed.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the president signed an executive order to kill the pipeline on Wednesday.
According to Fox Business, the $9 billion project was more than 10 years in the making and would have spanned over 1,200 miles to send nearly 830,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Alberta, Canada, to Nebraska.
Liberals have opposed the pipeline due to environmental concerns, citing the extra fossil fuels required to process the type of oil the pipeline would carry, NPRBidenstatementfracking, an innovative method for extracting fossil fuels deep in the ground, as well as projects like the Keystone Pipeline.
What makes this attack from the newly-minted president so sinister is that it will erase the possibility of much-needed jobs and revenue, while closing another avenue for America to break free from the grasp of foreign adversaries.
Biden has vague plans to create 10 million clean energy jobslove for AmericaUnder Trump we became energy independent the biggest exporter of Oil and Natural Gas. Now we will be under the thumb of Arab nations for our fuel. There is no way in hell that we can go 'green' fast enough to offset these stupid new regulations.

They are going to get us into sooo much debt to china! The answer isn't more checks, we NEED to stop these stupid lock downs ( that have been proven to be ineffective ) and open the country back up!
Democrats Now Say $2000 Stimulus Isn't Enough, You'll Never Believe What They're Demanding Now
Their first brilliant idea is a $2000 stimulus check, which isn't at all original - since President Donald J. Trump proposed that idea a few weeks ago.
Democrats tried to muddy the waters last time around when they wanted President Trump to sign stimulus checks for $600 alongside other checks worth billions of dollars for countries all over the world.
Pennies for Americans, real money for everyone else. Apparently, that's the Democrat way.
But things have changed. Joe Biden will be the one signing checks instead of Trump, so they are more than happy to send out MONTHLY $2000 stimulus checks - never mind the one-time $600 Democratic shenanigans a couple of weeks ago.
Giving money away when things go your way isn't used by Democrats alone. "Give us what we want, or else" was used by countless other criminal empires throughout history.
This would destroy the U.S. economy forever. By doing something like this, we would dig a hole so deep that we would never be able to get out of it.
This idea is being championed by Democrat Representative Ro Khanna.
tweeted Khanna.
"Let's not just give ordinary Americans a one-time $2,000 check. With our new majority and a worsening crisis, let's meet the need: $2,000/month, every month, until this crisis is over."
But he's not the only one. Squad member Ayanna Pressley has also joined in on calling for $2000 monthly checks.
"The people deserve, demand and require $2,000 recurring monthly survival checks."
"My constituents need, deserve & require $2,000 recurring checks.
I would like to believe that this wouldn't happen, but with the way Democrats are and now that they have control over everything, anything could happen.
Yup let's throw more money at the problem esp with Wuhan Flu v2.0 is about to strike.

Re: Just how Sleepy is Joe Hiden ???
Delayed: Democrats Say It May Be March Before Biden Admin Considers COVID Relief
President Joe Biden called easing the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic an “emergency” in statements leading up to Wednesday’s inauguration, but Democrats told NBC News just hours before Biden took the oath of office that further COVID-19 relief may not come until March.
Biden rolled out a $1.9 trillion relief plan last Thursday that includes “direct aid” to both businesses impacted by the coronavirus pandemic and to individual taxpayers who recently received a $600 stimulus check. The new plan would give Americans an additional $1,400 each, bringing the grand total for the second round of relief to $2,000 — an amount Democrats and Republicans both expressed support for back in December.
But experts told CBS News on Tuesday that such a massive aid package could take far longer to pass than advertised, particularly given that Biden expects bipartisan support for the relief measure, even if lawmakers agree on the $1,400 stimulus payments.
“The price tag of the relief package, called the American Rescue Plan, is likely to face pushback from Republican lawmakers, who last year resisted Democratic efforts to pass a $2 trillion bill. Heights Securities analyst Hunter Hammond expects the ultimate package to be trimmed to $1 trillion to $1.5 trillion,” the outlet noted. There’s also a question as to whether the Senate, now in Democrats’ hands, will prioritize Biden’s agenda, or will instead allow it to linger until after they hold former President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial.
On Wednesday, Democrats familiar with the plan told NBC News that they believe they will be able to send Biden a relief bill — in March.
“In @PunchbowlNewsAM — Democrats do not expect to be able to send @JoeBiden a Covid relief bill until early March,” Jake Sherman tweeted.
That means a final bill may not pass until late March or early April, nearly a year after the first coronavirus relief package passed, and individual stimulus payments might not reach Americans’ bank accounts until late March or early April. That’s likely far later than Americans had anticipated, given the urgency with which the Biden campaign and the Biden transition team addressed the coronavirus pandemic.
Instead, Biden is expected to use a series of executive orders and strategy directives to alter how the United States government approaches pandemic management and vaccine distribution — two segments of the overall coronavirus response on which, they claim, the Trump administration failed. The executive orders, due out Wednesday afternoon, will likely require mask-wearing on federal property and will return funding to the World Health Organization.
Biden suggested, last week, that he would use the Defense Production Act to force an increase in vaccine production, but details of that plan remain hazy. Cities and states that received large shipments of the vaccine are already having difficulty vaccinating residents and, in some cases, like in New York, vaccines are going to waste because state and local infrastructure is so lacking.
Democratic Congressional leaders are already at odds with the Biden administration over how quickly to pass the new president’s agenda, given that there is still an impeachment trial pending against the former president. Biden has asked that Congress either split their time between an impeachment trial and passing his agenda — something that may or may not be Constitutional — or delay any trial until after his first 100 days in office.
