I honestly thought that trumps unpopularity around the world benefited america... I really didn't want a president that the world approves of... I want one that can stand toe to toe with everyone and if needs be say no... because he is not afraid to be unpopular or be himself... now back to biden... I hear many bad things about him... but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt... since there isn't much of a choice... and concerning the us elections... I have two points for you chicago and the origins of the kkk... don't get it twisted... rigging elections is american as apple pie... its just most people can't believe it... go have a look at the history of american elections, the voting laws and such and you will come to the same conclusion... hell read about how the parties used to decide elections when there was no definitive winner in the old days... it will blow your mind... will it change... I doubt it... in fact its going to get worse now that we have this concept of fake news firmly embedded in the american psyche... fake news is just another term for conspiracy theory which is another term for considering the possibility of high crimes by the state and other interested parties... am I telling you to believe every crackpot theory out there... no... but step back for a second and realize that over a million news stories come out every day and what we get is only a curated amount and this curated amount is all with a spin left, right and center... and a lot of it is put out and written in such a way as to guide our thoughts down a certain path... you will begin to realize the rot runs deep...( church hearings)... my advice if trump says there is fraud... it probably happened... (now keep in mind a lot of this fraud is legal... yeah legal... I refer you to doing some deep reading on the election laws and if after reading you think thats crazy I can't believe my eyes do some research on international election observers and the us) will the fact that there is fraud change the results probably not... if it does I for one would be happy... but it probably wont'... because well american justice isn't about right or wrong but how deep your pocket book is and the art of the deal... remember there really is only one law but its interpretation is based on the size of your pocket book and the skill of the counsel that you can afford... but as for me... I am just trying to figure out how things will shake out in the coming four years... I have my ideas but I trust the grey beards here... and its always good to hear the opinions of others that have been there, done that, got the t-shirt....

Is it just me or does it seem like what is occurring in the economy and covid 19 remind you of prohibition of the 1920s...

In an attempt to better society
we legislate morality...
instead of personal responsibility...
and in such a shortsighted way as to decrease both...
in other words, making the cure worse than the disease...

in the case of the economy the evil is capitalism that we must fix...
(when the truth is its poor economic planning)

in the case of covid 19 the evil is social gatherings we must fix...
(when the truth is there is a drastic decline in our health systems... we might have more knowledge but we are dumber for it)

we blame what we need...
without a consideration that capitalism and social gatherings go hand in hand with prosperity and social calm...

In other words, we look for short term fixes and call them long term cures...
and thus create new normals...
thus gas lighting people who live in the US as a whole...

think of it like this
you grew up all your life thinking the sky is blue and all over sudden everyone says its green... and laugh at you for thinking otherwise... when the truth is its still blue...
all your life you grew up hearing its ok to have a cold and sniffles... and some people even get sick and die from it... and we even have times when a lot of people get sick and die from it... normal right... now all of that is thrown out the window as the cold becomes covid 19 and we have covid 19 protocols that evolve day to day... and you get laughed at and derided if not get outright evil looks for saying its just a cold...

or in the case of economies, they normally have boom and bust cycles as various technologies evolve and are replaced with time... not to mention bubbles...
but instead of working with what is natural economic cycles that expand the country, the fed use it as an opportunity to go on a mad power grab and call it normal... not fixing the real issue which is working with the economic cycles to expand the economy, they use the economic cycles to try to normalize boom which normalizes bust and to centralize power and fill the pockets of corrupt politicians... all the while extolling the virtues of socialism and communism... while calling capitalism evil... when the truth is just at best ignorance and shortsightedness or at worst planned economic implosion... with neary a thought for the women and children first inline to get off the ship... every man for himself... but those in the know first...

all the while, ridiculing and banning any ideas that might actually help... simply because its not in the common knowledge or is an inconvenience to those in the know...

we live in an age where the tyranny of the ignorant is fueled by the greed of the cunning and heartless...
but has it ever been otherwise...

I was just doing some research on the swine flu outbreak of 1976 and it is very reminiscent of covid 19... there maybe parallels that we will see in our future by comparing how it was handled... from looking around youtube at the swine flu of 76... it seems that this mass virus infection thing has happened a number of times since 1976... very interesting... on youtube you have past news casts... really reminiscent of today... only the reaction today is greater... very interesting stuff...

wells fargo bank is putting their line of credit business on ice for the foreseeable future... their reasoning is that its hard to project with the covid 19 virus... their home equity loan program is also suspended... taxes are projected to rise... people are hoarding toilet tissue again... bank of america has been closing branches under the idea of making themselves more efficient... stores are cutting staff where ever they can... airline traffic is 30% to 50% what it was before the covid 19 pandemic... the rest of the world has new lockdown measures in place and there is talk of new lockdown measures in the united states... and ofcourse bitcoin price is rising... bitcoin prices only rise when their is a serious threat to the status quo... if trends continues... its going to be a bad 2021...

No doubt that the immediate trajectory of the USA is not going to a good place based on the double whammy of the economic downturn of the economy linked to the rapid increase of COVID-19.

Unfortunately, when Joe Biden becomes President on Jan 20 no magic light switch is going to turn on ad things will be all better.

The Trump administration has downgraded many trusted gov't institutions into less efficient versions of them self in the last four years.

It is going to take a year to stabilize and unscrew the health and welfare of its citizens.

One is going to have to put one's faith and trust that Joe Biden will lead forward based upon a path of science, transparency and responsible gov't practises

Mighty forces will be highly critical of the actions that need to be taken. You need to back off and disengage from famous multi media voices who are trying to capture your interest usually for personal profit.

A lot of paper money is going to have to be printed and distributed to help the economy and its citizens to get to a better place.

Divided gov't is not what the USA needs right now. The Senate cannot in the next year become the chamber of obstructionism. I am hopeful with Trump soon to be in the rear view mirror, only two or three Senate Republicans are needed to put country over politics.
