Wind turbine farms in Britain have grown in the last 10 years - is the UK the Saudi Arabia of wind power?


The last 10 years have seen unprecedented growth in the contribution of wind power to the UK's energy needs.
Thousands of wind turbines have been erected both onshore and offshore, on sites that have been heralded as the bedrock of the UK's bid to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.


In the last 20 years, the contribution of wind power to the UK's energy needs has gone from around 320MW (in 2001) to more than 24GW (in 2021) - a 73-fold increase.
Nearly 20GW of that has come on stream in the last 10 years.

By 2019, the expansion in the number of farms meant wind was accounting for almost one fifth of the UK's total generation. But on some days, up to half of all the UK's electricity needs have been met by wind.


... the USA can learn a lot from the UK when it comes to wind power. This will create at least 10,000 new high paying life long jobs in the USA.

with turbines and solar panels being built mainly overseas there are few JOBS JOBS JOBS here in the USA for those types jobs.

he is pushing American manufacturing jobs out of the country just the way his Boss did from 2009 - 2016.

Trump was able to bring some of those jobs back and was working on American First jobs here in the states. Hence the lowest unemployment stats before the plandemic hit.

the lockdowns KILLED small business and with Bidens new "jobs plan" the Obama era regulations and penalties are being brought back online.
