That is why most Hertz rental facilities are located at airports. Most people do not need to rent a vehicle unless they have flown somewhere and need wheels while they are there. And that is most likely why Hertz was in bankruptcy, drastically reduced travel during the Dempanic.

The Tesla purchase should be the final nail in the coffin for them.

... when the service is required, I would be eager to rent a Tesla over a gas automobile just to try it for the first time.

... if you followed CNBC, you would know that El-Erian is a highly successful global hedge fund manager who's words and advice are listened to by many in positions of power.

Mohamed Aly El-Erian (Arabic: محمد العريان‎, romanized: Muḥammad al-ʿAryān; born August 19, 1958) is an Egyptian-American economist and businessman. Former Obama adviser Larry Summers knocks Yellen and Treasury for downplaying inflation

Summers, a Democrat who served as treasury secretary under President Bill Clinton and director of the National Economic Council under President Barack Obama, has been sounding the alarm on inflation since earlier this year. He argues that increased demand coupled with an infusion of fiscal spending and large-scale Federal Reserve debt purchases has put the United States at risk of losing control of inflation.

Remember when Biden was first elected the first thing that I predicted was the rise of ISIS. Trump beat them down like the scum that they are. You can expect a terrorist attack in the USA very soon. Sad to say it but it is what it is......

Top Pentagon Official: ISIS-K Could Be Capable Of Attacking United States Within A Year

ISIS-K terrorists could be able to carry out attacks against the United States within a year, a senior Defense Department official told senators during a hearing on Tuesday.

Senate Armed Services Committee chairman Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI) explained the need to maintain vigilance in Afghanistan.

... a maybe vs the guaranteed huge pile of money the USA would have spent and the US soldiers lives and casualties likely suffered had the USA remained in that very far away country.

With the offer of US foreign aid $ and the Taliban in desperate need of cash, more can be accomplished from a distance against both parties common enemy, ISIS.

It's not so much that we left Afghanistan that's the problem. It's that Biden and liberals in general are weak on national defense. It was Obama's pussyfooting around that led to ISIS uprising to begin with. Trump bombed them into submission.
