That's "creative". No doubt. It's "creative" in that its a hidden tax on the middle class. You fools keep trying to sell the American people that we can tax the rich and pay for all of this stuff. It's a lie. Glad that you've come around. That's progress.

PS - You forgot to add that we can raise taxes on gasoline. That's another hidden tax on the middle class. There's also a "carbon" tax.

PS - We must not forget about a possible VAT tax on all goods.

      In Canada....

The Federal VAT is called GST (Goods and Services Tax) and charged at the rate of 5 % --- plus the Provincial Sales Tax of about 8 % in most provinces/territories results often to a Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of about 13 %.

Nobody believes that taxing the rich will solve all problems. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be done

It of course makes sense to take money from those that have it because that's where more of it is. However, this is done in an almost punitive way. Success is both rewarded and punished at the same time. If I work hard and make more to only have those gains punished via higher taxes, what's the point? But let's be "progressive" in our way of thinking and find ways to do more with less for a change. It's almost a new way of thinking for most people.

So, was Biden lying when he said that he wouldn't tax the middle class?

There's gonna be a lot of companies moving to Mexico and China. Ford has already backed out of it's commitment to build it's new electric car factory in Detroit and are moving it to Mexico. But taxing the rich sounds good on paper. At least it seems that the libs on this site understand that taxes will be raised on the middle class. Democrats are gonna tax everything that they can. That's what they do.

You make it sound like if the rich are taxed they will stop trying to be rich. You obviously don't understand greed.
What possible reason is there not to tax them as fully as people who make less money?

How would I know the answer to that.
Is he a politician? He was likely lying.

FYI, the shooter in the Boulder, Colorado grocery store mass shooting yesterday was not a white supremacist as the liberal media was planning to spend the rest of the week saying. It was an Islamic terrorist from Syria named Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa. ISLAMIC TERROR ATTACK? Syrian, Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa Named - Killer in Grocery Store Shooting Spree - The Deplorable Patriot

Under Obama there were a lot of terrorist attacks by Muslims. I remember that one Muslim shot up a gay nightclub that killed many gays. This time the target was a massage parlor that offered a "happy ending."

You gloss over the fact that the mainstream media had falsely claimed the guy was a white supremist.
