New stimulus Obamacare subsidies start April 1
    By Tami Luhby, CNN
Updated 3:07 PM EDT, Wed March 31, 2021

(CNN)Extra premium subsidies approved as part of the recent stimulus bill will be available on the federal Affordable Care Act exchange starting on Thursday.

Current enrollees and those seeking Obamacare coverage can access the additional help for two years as part of the $1.9 trillion relief package that President Joe Biden signed in early March.

However, those who are out of work likely won't be able to sign up for the $0 premium coverage called for in the stimulus plan until July, according to the Department of Health and Human Services, though they may qualify now for zero- or low-cost policies based on their income. This provision is taking longer to implement because it is new.

The Biden administration will ask Congress to extend incentives that have spurred a U.S. electric-vehicle market that still trails EV adoption in economic rival China.

The proposed extension for breaks on EV purchases is part of a $2.25 trillion infrastructure and stimulus blueprint called “The American Jobs Plan” that Biden is set to announce in Pittsburgh Wednesday afternoon, some details of which the White House has released.

Biden’s proposal includes long-expected updates to roads, airports and other portions of U.S. infrastructure, but as part of his campaign promise, the plan looks to move the needle on fighting climate change. In addition to giving a boost to EV purchases, the plan calls for more charging infrastructure and electric school buses.

I have nothing against building up our infrastructure. Hell, I don't have anything against EV's. However, the government is very inefficient at doing this sort of thing. They'll waste billions on environmental studies. The jobs will take much longer and cost more than projected. Some projects will never get off the ground despite investing large sums of money in them.

It always sounds good on paper and democrats drool over it but it never turns out good. Just ask Obama. I've seen this movie.

Your correct you have ZERO cents

President Joe Biden is using his infrastructure plan to take aim at President Donald Trump's signature economic achievement: his corporate tax cuts.

The administration is calling for $2 trillion in new spending on roads, bridges and a myriad other projects, and sticking big companies with the bill. To defray its cost, his plan would roll back Trump’s cut in the corporate tax rate — Biden would hike it to 28 percent, from 21 percent — while stiffening a minimum tax on multinational corporations.

This is just a repeat of what Obama tried to do. I think we all remember the term "shovel ready jobs." Are these roads and bridges already in need of repair, or was this just a term used to con the American people out of more money? History tends to repeat itself.

Democrats have a short memory. They think if they keep trying something over and over again that eventually it's gonna work. That's the definition of insanity.
