(CNN)The Biden administration has secured agreements for Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala to tighten their borders and stem the flow of migration, Special Assistant to the President for Immigration for the Domestic Policy Council Tyler Moran told MSNBC Monday.

"We've secured agreements for them to put more troops on their own border. Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala have all agreed to do this. That not only is going to prevent the traffickers, and the smugglers, and cartels that take advantage of the kids on their way here, but also to protect those children," Moran said.

Just watched the clip where Biden makes that comment, it didn't make the news over here however if Trump had said the same they would have published articles for a couple of days, just shows how hypocritical the media is.

County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis said the Pomona Fairplex campus could house up to 2,500 unaccompanied minors, according to The Associated Press.

In March, 19,000 children were encountered by border agents, a record.
Federal facilities are currently housing more than 20,000 unaccompanied minors, and more are on the way.

The Times cited internal federal documents as projecting that more than 35,000 migrant children would be in federal custody by June.
To cope with the flood of migrants, the Biden administration is looking at multiple sites far from the border.

For example, migrant families will be staying at hotels in the Phoenix area, Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona said Friday, according to KIMT-TV

President Trump already had an agreement in place with Mexico that was working very well to reduce the number of illegal border crossings. One of the first thing the Biden administration did was to rescind that agreement. I guess they realized their mistake when they started getting hammered about the kids in cages.
