University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Center for Immigration Law and Policy which reveals that in the city’s Dedicated Dockets program, just one percent of border crossers are found to have valid claims for asylum.
Additionally, more than 72 percent of illegal aliens ordered deported failed to show up for their asylum hearings. “The bombshell data comes as the Biden administration has deployed an expansive Catch and Release network where more than 954,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have been released into the U.S. interior from February 2021 to April 2022″ adds Breitbart.
When released, they are done so on the promise that they will check in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and show up to their asylum hearings. the UCLA data suggests very few show up to their hearings.
“Although more than 1.2 million illegal aliens have been ordered deported from the U.S. by a federal immigration judge, former Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan told Breitbart News that the Biden administration is deporting just one illegal alien for every 100 illegal aliens successfully crossing the southern border.”
“The most historic illegal alien crossings we’ve ever seen in the history of this nation … in that same year, ICE had the lowest number of removals in the history of the agency,” Homan said.

Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens tweeted recently, on May 17, that agents under his command apprehended 2,849 migrants last weekend. However, as migrants no longer want to wait for Title 42 to end, they have surged the border.
In a Breitbart exclusive, the media outlet reported the “number will be eclipsed as it appears the total could approach 4,000 this weekend.” Unfortunately, “the migrants did not appear to know or understand that the Title 42 will not end on Monday due to a federal court order. They expressed they were simply tired of waiting” the report adds.
Between April 1st and May 15 of this year, approximately 513,000 migrants illegally crossed the southern border.
On Friday, Louisiana Judge Robert Summerhays issued a preliminary injunction, and ordered to temporarily block the Biden Administration from revoking Title 42.
Breitbart notes “whether Title 42 ends or not, migrants say they are tired of waiting and surged across the Rio Grande into the Eagle Pass, Texas, area of operations. As many as 3,600 crossed so far this weekend — eclipsing last weekend’s total of just over 2,800 migrant apprehensions in the Del Rio Sector — according to a source operating within U.S. Customs and Border Protection.”
In just a couple of hours on Sunday evening, agents apprehended more than 700 migrants. Agents identified majority of the migrants as Honduran nationals, and some as Colombian.
One source told Breitbart resources were not available to transport migrants from the border to the processing station. It also appears the NGOs who regularly shelter the migrants are overloaded as migrants are reportedly being dropped off at an Eagle Pass Stripes convenience store.
“The crossings are not without danger. On Saturday, seven migrants were swept off their feet in the middle of the night forcing Border Patrol agents to jump into action to save their lives” Breitbart Texas reported. Those seven were lucky, whereas the bodies of three migrants were recovered at the Del Rio Sector.

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
... in the aftermath of the Ulvalde mass murder, parents find themselves in the position of having to reassure their children that they are safe to return to school.
... at least one child asked her parents if they could provide bulletproof backpacks for herself and her little brother before they returned to school.
Companies that make bulletproof backpacks for kids are seeing a spike in sales after the Texas school shooting that left at least 19 children dead
- Companies that make bulletproof products are seeing sales spike following the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting.
- National retailers are purchasing bulletproof backpacks from Guard Dog Security.
- And customers from all over the US are buying up MC Armor Company's bulletproof backpack inserts.
Demand for bulletproof kids' gear is spiking following the devastating school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, manufacturers told Insider.
Four companies that manufacture bulletproof gear said they've already seen more customers searching for and purchasing bulletproof backpacks since a gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary School. Police have confirmed that at least 19 children and two adults are dead.
Yasir Sheikh with Guard Dog Security, a company that manufactures and distributes various self-defense products like stun guns, alarms, and pepper sprays, said they're "seeing an increase" in customers interested in bulletproof backpacks, which the company says can act as a shield in the event of a shooting.
Sheikh, Guard Dog's president, said there's also been "an increase from our national retailers who carry our bags." Guard Dog sells backpacks to national retailers like Dick's Sporting Goods, Home Depot, and Lowe's, he said.
A person standing in the line of fire can hold the backpack up to their head or chest to deflect the bullets, product illustrations on the website show. The backpacks come in different colors and patterns, and weigh less than four pounds, according to product descriptions.
Guard Dog, Sheikh said, has donated a portion of the proceeds received from bulletproof backpack sales to Make Our Schools Safe, a nonprofit started by the parents of one of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School victims in Parkland, Florida, in 2018.
Other companies like Wonder Hoodie have also seen an uptick in sales in the last couple days.
And MC Armor Company, which makes "ballistic-proof personal protective gear and accessories" for both everyday civilians and prominent figures, has witnessed a spike in interest for bulletproof kids' gear.
Carolina Ballesteros, MC Armor's marketing manager, told Insider customers from all over the country have been looking at and purchasing a bulletproof backpack insert.
MC Armor products for kids are "approved and designed with pediatricians," Ballesteros said.
Since the shooting, customers have been ordering inserts and shipping them to various states, like New Jersey, Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, and Florida, according to Ballesteros.
"Normally our regular customers don't look for the inserts for backpacks if it's not back to school, but since yesterday 20% of our website visits and calls are for this product," Ballesteros said. "We are always making awareness of the training and security for schools but sadly it is just at a moment of a tragedy that they look for it."
MC Armor has also developed products like bulletproof whiteboards and doors for classrooms. But the challenge with bulletproof gear for kids and in the classroom is its presence makes parents fear for the safety of their children, Ballesteros said.
But school shootings have been a reality in US schools for decades. So far in 2022, there have been 27 school shootings, according to Education Week's tracker. In 2021, there were 34 school shootings. And this year, the number of school shootings is rapidly creeping up and could easily surpass last year's figure.
Julie McCuen, chief operating officer at Leatherback Gear, said a spike in sales after a tragic event like a school shooting is typical.
"People react and seek out something to make them feel safer after the fact," McCuen told Insider.
"While we wish that this wasn't something we as parents needed to think about, recent history reveals that it is very much a threat to our children that we need to take seriously and make every attempt to be proactive about,"
McCuen added. "Just as we educate and prepare our children in school for what to do in the event of a fire, we now must do the same for an active shooter."Comment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Posts 9822-9827 are posts from the dark side of life on Memorial Day from people who forgot long ago what a patriot was supposed to be!
The USA needs to focus not on tearing down it's leader for political gain but to actually help that leader decrease school murders!
What is more important? Children's lives or a few more guns & accessories sold to an over saturated firearms market!
The USA has more guns in private hands than people!
Currently the mass murder rate is increasing.
27 children have so far been murdered in their classrooms in 2022 vs 34 in 2021 with nearly half of the year already gone!
School shootings—terrifying to students, educators, parents, and communities—always reignite polarizing debates about gun rights and school safety. To bring context to these debates, Education Week journalists in 2018 began tracking shootings on K-12 school property that resulted in firearm-related injuries or deaths.
There were 34 school shootings in 2021, 24 of which occurred after August 1. A shooting on Nov. 30, in which a student killed four people and injured seven at an Oxford, Mich., high school, was the deadliest school shooting since May 2018. As of the end of 2021, there were 92 school shootings since 2018. The COVID-19 pandemic appears to have interrupted the trend line. The 2020 figure, with 10 shootings, was significantly lower than 2019 and 2018, which each had 24.
In 2022, we continue this heartbreaking, but important work.
There have been 27 school shootings this year. There have been 119 school shootings since 2018, when Education Week began tracking such incidents. The highest number of shootings, 34, occurred last year. There were 10 shootings in 2020, and 24 each in 2019 and 2018.Last edited by SalesServiceGuy; 05-31-2022, 03:07 AM.Comment
