Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Just look at your 401k retirement account now compared to when Trump was in office . Did not make me a millionaire but it sure looked good back then . 30% off solar panels when the majority of people will still have to finance it along with house and car and raising kids , raising interest rates and high inflation does not sound like a good idea to take on another debt . You guys seem all in for Biden , would like to know are you all in for Biden forgiving these student loans . Just cant see how this is good for the country.Comment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Actually that tax cut benefited everyone. The largest rate cut was at the lowest level. You apparently fail to realize that it is the wealthy who hire workers. Can you afford to pay the weekly of even one of your near by major supermarkets? You probably couldn't even cover the cost of operating your nearest gasoline station. As with all previous income tax reductions, the one under President Trump along with his elimination of job killing regulations created jobs and actually increased total tax revenue.
Trump never controlled the House or Senate, the lobbyist did and have for decades.
As for party leadership in the House and Senate, Mich McConnell is a liberal idiot. The closest we had as far as a Conservative Speaker was back the 1995-1999 with Gingrich. Hastert was weak, Boehner was a bone headed idiot and Ryan was Boehner light, the only reason he even became Speaker was because Kevin's wife did want him to take it at that time.
Maybe you should look at what REALLY happens when billion dollar corporations get big tax breaks. They buy back stock so they can give their shareholders big dividends, they give executives big bonuses etc. The US people are STILL waiting for the trickle down from Reagan's tax cuts. It just never happens.Comment

BTW my 401K took a shit during TRUMP and Covid
Amazing isnt it people finance major improvements it's called a loan. Apparently you still haven't made one yet?
Great News you DON'T want the 30% tax saving for solar no problem don't claim it. Same with the 7,500 EV credit don't claim it.Comment

The White House is ramping up efforts to tout the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill and the effort to refurbish roads, bridges and airports and reduce emissions.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will go on a four-day, six-state tour starting Tuesday, visiting Florida, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Ohio, Nevada and New Hampshire to talk up the infrastructure law.Comment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Look dude, trumpy "facilitated" the criminal probe by being, well, a criminal. He stole classified, security sensitive documents. What he was going to do with these classified, security sensitive documents only he knows. I can certainly make a guess though. In my opinion he was either going to give or sell them to one of his dictator buddies.
ALL documents is his possession were DECLASSIFIED.

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Why were they negotiating for months to get back de-classified documents? Why lock up de-classified documents, why refuse to give back de-classified documents? Where are the records indicating he de-classified these documents?
I am sure the talking point will change again as we have heard FBI is corrupt, he was writing a memoir, Obama did it, the usual deflective bullshit.

Remember the so called Steele dossier that the FBI chased for a few years that now is known to be false . They knew it and just kept trying and trying to find something . Could this be over reach again . sure starting to look like it . Come November the money train will come to an end just like the Durham investigation did .Comment
