    Loss of a member

It saddens me to let everyone here know we've lost a member. Bob Cap, one of my dearest friends in the world for 40 years, lost his battle with cancer last week. He wasn't a very active member of the boards, but he was able to use a lot of the knowledge shared here to keep his printing business going. I know he was grateful for all the information we freely shared here.

Thanks everyone for being who you are.

        Sorry. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Very sad. Godspeed.

In just all my years with the same company, I've lost 12 coworkers to either accident or illness, plus all the people in their immediate families.

                      It never gets any easier.

                      I pray for your friend.

                      May God bless.

                        Re: Loss of a member

Thanks gang... your kind words mean a lot to me.

I used to work for Bob, at the time he owned a concert sound company, music store and recording studio. Through him I was honored to meet several well known entertainers, plus got to play with some really cool toys!

One story I can share... I had a guitar stolen from me at a club I played at. I didn't have a gig the next week, so I was shopping for a new instrument. We had just gotten a shipment of new Kramer guitars in, and while I was pricing them and hanging them up on the display, he said to me ... "Pick one". Those guitars ran from $500-$1500 retail, and I told him there was no way I could afford that. He just looked at me and said, "I told you to pick one." I grabbed a new DMZ-2000 off the rack, he checked the invoice and told me it was mine for dealer cost... and he'd just take payments from my check to cover it. Needless to say I was overwhelmed by his generosity.

I played that guitar for almost 15 years before it was traded for a newer one.

Rest in peace Bob... a truer friend I never knew.
