    Billing Microsoft

I will be sending an invoice to Microsoft regarding the Windows 10 updates that affect the connection between printers and multifunction units. (Windows updates installing WSD ports, over riding manufactures drivers with Windows print drivers and now the BSOD). I have reinstalled multiple drivers, reset IP addresses to the correct ports and now I have to uninstall one or more windows updates just to get things to work right.

The changes I have to make to get the units to print may or may not last, may or may not affect other devices, software or security down the line. I am not a windows 10 expert, I just don't know. Will I be held accountable if something were to go wrong after making these changes?

It is not the fault of the printers or multifunction units. It is not the fault of the end users. It is the direct fault of Microsoft. They should be held accountable.

I know this probably will be a waste of my time. But no more so then all the time wasted on these issues over the last year or so.

Maybe if we all send them a bill they may start to pay a little more attention to what is going on.

    Just a little rant
Thanks for your time, hope all is well.

... until you get an Account # with Microsoft good luck with that.

I had dealers try and invoice Home Depot for work done. Without an Account #, expect silence.

When I get a call for this problem, I send them instructions on how to fix the problem. If they're unable or unwilling to do it, then I charge them.
