So far I have not yet seen a news report where they said exactly what type of weapon he had. I guarantee you that if it was an AR-15 or any other type of what they like to refer to as an assault rifle, the liberal media would be all over it and demanding that they be outlawed. The only thing that I have seen merely says a "shooting" rifle and that he had bought a box of 50 rounds. An AR-15 uses 5.56 NATO rounds that usually come in boxes of 20, 2 10 zip load clips. So the weapon was merely a standard 22 caliber rifle of some type.
