A Samsung, a Kyocera, and a HP copier all walk into a bar...
Re: A Samsung, a Kyocera, and a HP copier all walk into a bar...
I hope they never run out of toner. You'll never know what ended up in the hopper.
I remember a Toshiba Alabama series with negative copies. I asked the customer if they had refilled the toner bottle. They gave me an enthusiastic "No! We would never do that!". I would have been an idiot not to notice the broken open Samsung toner cartridges laying in the waste basket. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Oh man that sounds bad! Thankfully I don't think the customer's at this location are even brave enough to open a toner cartridge, let alone refill one with another brand.

The worst thing about wrong polarity toner is the only place it absolutely DOESN'T WANT TO BE is in the developing unit. It looked like the developing unit exploded. =^..^=

I remember the early days of the non Xerox plain paper copiers. So many manufacturers hadn't come up with the idea of cartridges so the customers had to just pour a bottle of toner into the toner hopper. Toner pirates frequently shipped people the wrong toner.

I remember. At the time I was working on Mita DC-121. 131, 161, 111 ... all with open hoppers. Just pour in the toner. Do you remember the technique they taught us? "Roll the bottle as you pour, so it doesn't all dump at once. You get a nice slow even pour, and never too much."
At least now they have to work a little harder to insert the wrong toner. =^..^=

I didn't know Samsung was still making MFPs. Even it's a Lexmark(?) I still don't recognize it.
The HP is using Samsung engine technology. The Samsung (now Samsucks) is discontinued with little chance of quality support from HP.
No Lexmark product is pictured. Lexmark A3s are Konica Minolta (both having big time product delivery problems), The Kyocera, I rarely compete against them so I cannot comment.
.. certainly an odd collection probably more hardware than the customer needs. I suspect they own the Kyocera and Samsung and recently signed a new HP lease.
The caption should be "This is a toner disaster for the customer/ service provider to maintain".
If all three are color copiers, that is 12 toners and 3 waste toner bottles to maintain.

Anybody remember the old Canon NP120/125/200 toner?
It was a foil bag, with the lower half glued into a box. The customer had to use scissors to cut the bag, then pour the toner into a slot.
Nasty memories!
CANON NP 1520
they always worked apart from the crankcases that caught fire and the melters and oilers that became encrusted, but the customer paid them a lot instead of calling every 5 minutes
