this is now an expensive job...aycaramba (in some ways)

well well, nice looking forum. havent been here in awhile.

recently had a need to relocate, I am in between places and finding myself not able to afford the rental scenario even... the rental scene has gone mad. I had also just replaced the work vehicle which was also incredibly difficult which had me realize this line of work is hella expensive...

I used to be able to afford a econo vehicle, even the sticker price has gone up. Interest on used vehicle is stupid high. And then you think "ok maybe buy new to lower borrowed cost." but then the idea came in that if you were spending that much, get a vehicle with fuel saving feature. but then the math only breaks even... by this point, i'm over budget over budget...anywho, vehicle secured, atleast its a forever sedan they call it. I might as well be a stuber driver. so this was already difficult, now i have to look for these stupid rental properties...

and un the simple fact is i cant afford them, even the vehicle.... maybe the job even...

I've been out of the industry for 3 years, but I hadn't seen a raise since 2018, then a significant pay cut during Covid. By the the time I had retired, my pay was back to the 2018 level. Management tried to tell us that was wonderful! I didn't think so.

Sorry to hear of your struggles. Hang in there! We're all here for you. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
