It's almost a wrap for liberalism

Nigel Farage’s Reform Party Pulls Ahead as Most Popular Party in Britain

Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.

The election was last year, Skippy. Labour win by a landslide.

The current thinking on Trump's rapid fire Executive Orders since inauguration, is a "Shock & Awe" campaign similar to the US military attack on Baghdad in the Iraq war.

The problem with "Shock & Awe" is that it does not consider the 2nd and 3rd repurcussions of the initial actions. The US military spent over ten years and billions of dollars trying to help Iraq rebuild it's physical and social infrastructure after initally destroying it. It is going to take a decade once Trump has left office to fix the damage he has done to the Republic. Eventually all of the old white guys are going to die off and be replaced by the majority of liberal thinking young people.

The other thing is that although Trump denied knowledge of the ulta far right Project 25 before the election it has clearly heavily influenced his actions since elected.

The only problem with that is the waste and fraud is real. Which is why you never hear liberals address it. This could be Trump's biggest accomplishment.

The only reason for gutting government departments is so trumpy can give more handouts to the ultra wealthy. That's not you, by the way.

During the 2024 Presidential campaign Donald Trump told the voters exactly what he was going to do on day one. After the inauguration he did what he promised.

Really? How are your grocery prices? How's that pesky war in Ukraine? How are your gas prices?
He has barely touched in what he promised for day one.
Oh, but he brought back plastic straws! That should keep you distracted for awhile.

I recognise the need for it.

Now, post the gotcha you asked the question for. I'm sure you have an anecdote claiming the DOE is useless.

                      Facts are never a gotcha.

We spend the most money per student and rank dead last. Your support for failure is truly mind boggling. And you say this is what we need? Please explain.

One of your biggest problems is you believe trumpy without doing any of your own research. That's a disadvantage.

"The U.S. ranked 13th in science with a score that was 14 points above the OECD average. In reading, it ranked sixth, scoring 28 points above average. Math performance was lower: The U.S. ranked 28th, scoring seven points below OECD average.

When compared with all 81 countries that took the test in 2022, including non-OECD countries, the U.S. ranked 16th in science, ninth in reading, and 34th in math."

Once you realise trumpy lies about everything, things will be easier.

The loudest complainers here in the States are ultra wealthy Democrat politicians who are losing their graft.

Actually, a while back you were making fun of our education system and the poor results compared to Canada.

And? I didn't say it was all sunshine and roses. However, believing the trumpy lie about the US being dead last shows your lack of critical thinking skills.

Are you saying that Americans are smart and highly educated?
