The very next day the world spot market price for petroleum started to increase rapidly.

During the final year of Trump's first Presidency the world price for a hogshead fell 20.64%. During first year to Biden's presidency it rose 58.01% and an additional 7.05% in his second year. Overall for Biden's entire term in rose a total of 48.12%. The only year it didn't go up was the third which is when he started selling off the actual Naval Strategic Petroleum Reserves nearly depleting them. So far this year the price has come down 2.25% under Trump.
