To be fair... I live in LA, I have met a lot of people with that type of fanaticism, whereas the need to find justifications for the actions of their political parties, has left me baffled.

I tell them, that you can be critical of your own party, nothing will happen, it's okay.

So, that statement, while sarcasm, is not far from reality for many, at least here in LA.

Stanley Meyers was a real interesting eccentric inventor and his death is a bit of a mystery, he swears he was poisoned before he passed away but was diagnosed as natural causes. Moreover, he invented a water powered car and swore it would stand the test of time, I'm sure big oil and the rest of the car manufactures were not too keen on it, though.

The average cost of a gallon of gas will be $5.00 in the next couple of weeks. Biden has no plans of expanding our oil production. He's asked us to not drive so much.

As copier addict said yesterday, drilling for new oil decreases the incentive for pursuing the new green deal by democrats and high gas prices produces the incentive that he (copier addict) is looking for.

While copier addict may be happy, this will hurt millions of people. I don't know how many will survive.

OK, expand our oil production, still doesnt change that the refining production is already at 100%, if oil sitting in holding tanks with no where to go decreases gas prices Im all for it.

But you eliminate the imported crude and they will no longer be at 100%. Our refineries were able to handle our production under President Trump. We were also starting to export to Europe.

There is the problem, Joe has shut down most of the large production sites.
He has closed ANWAR..
he stopped XL project 900,000 million gals a DAY!
He was considering shutting down one up north (WI..MI?)..haven't heard the update yet.
So now we buy 600,000 barrels a DAY from Vlad.
Now they want to buy from Iran, Venezuela, Middle East.
We have more oil/gas than all those areas combined...

... the Keystone XL pipeline is just that. A pipeline. It was never an oil reserve. The same amount of oil flows into the USA from Canada everyday via other methods.
