You can say gas prices have dropped but the price is still double what it was when joe took over.

Guess what Copier Idiot. If you are going to post prices to compare, make sure you use the proper date. Biden was sworn in at noon on January 20, 2021, not 2020. I also suggest that you provide the source for your numbers. Oh wait, that right, you liberals never provide links to your source.

bsm2 keeps trying to make it look like fuel prices a really down but anyone with half a brain knows the they are nowhere near what they were in the past. The fact is that anothertech most likely was referring to prices in his community. More than likely bsm2 is looking at the price in Florida where he lives which is $0.27 less than the national average thanks to the fact that Florida has a Conservative Republican Governor. Here in California where we have a Communist Democrat Governor, the price is $1.52 more than the national average.

Nationwide average for gas on the day before Biden took office according to Gasbuddy, com was just under $2.39. And as of today it is $4.007. May not quite double but damned near. And one year ago it was $3.183.

          Re: $5.00 per gallon gas

Poor baby gas prices are lower that a Fact

Some states are seeing prices in the $3 range, numbers not seen since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war. In June 2022, prices at the pump exceeded $5 per gallon.

Experts say the national average may fall below the $4 mark soon, as 21 states already have prices of $3.95 and under, according to aaa.gasprices.com.

Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy, told TheStreet that prices in a few states could even drop below $3 within the week. The states most likely to benefit from such a steep dip would be Texas, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and Kentucky.

As of today, the price for Regular in my area (Southwest of Cleveland, Ohio) ranged between $3.449 and $3.899, at least that I saw.

            Nothing official, just an observation.

Still about 75% more than when Biden took office.

Price in Cleveland on 1/19/2021 was about $2.20. $2.20 X 1.75 = $3.85 which falls in the range he specified of $3.449 and $3.899.

3.44 is NOT 75% and 3.85 only fits in your your little brain

Enjoy your meltdown as gas prices continue to fall thanks to Joe Biden

Biden let the gas prices get out of control . He slowed production in the US knew about the impending invasion of Ukraine saw inflation starting to explode and then blamed it all on others while things could have been in place to not let it get out of control . Thanking Biden for lowering gas prices is like thanking the captain of the Titanic for not hitting a bigger iceberg .

Biden reduce the price by taking action to reduce the price getting oil companies to increase output and using US stockpiles of oil.

I am Sure the invasion by Russia had nothing to do with it.
