Re: $5.00 per gallon gas
Some states are seeing prices in the $3 range, numbers not seen since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war. In June 2022, prices at the pump exceeded $5 per gallon.
Experts say the national average may fall below the $4 mark soon, as 21 states already have prices of $3.95 and under, according to aaa.gasprices.com.Comment

Re: $5.00 per gallon gas
US gasoline prices continue to fall, and they could keep falling, raising the possibility of gas below $3 a gallon in much of the country before the end of the year.
The national average for a gallon of regular gas stood at $3.96 Monday, down only a fraction of a cent from where it stood on Sunday. Still that decline maintained a streak of 62 consecutive days of falling gas prices.
The average national price has fallen $1.06, or 21%, since hitting a record high of $5.02 a gallon on June 14.Comment

Personally I don't believe any leader has much control over energy prices, but if you blame someone for the prices going up shouldn't you also give credit when the prices come down?Comment

Re: $5.00 per gallon gas
Your joking . We went from being energy independent to going around the globe begging other nations , mainly American hating countries to drill for more oil . Supply and demand is a major reason why price is dropping but Bidens policies regarding energy in the US effected the supply portion . Energy secretary Jennifer Granholm response to high gas prices , buy a electric car. What a tone deaf response .Comment
