When are fire departments going to learn that water should not be put on a lithium fire. Lithium reacts with water producing lithium hydroxide and hydrogen gas. It is an exothermic reaction producing enough heat to ignite the hydrogen if there is any oxygen available. A lithium fire need to be smothered, deprived of oxygen, not cooled.

They'll have to start carrying foam.

Maybe Tesla needs to relocate their charging stations at the extreme outer perimeter of mall parking lots. That would discourage owners from using them as parking spaces.
