The posts we love the most

I think this forum is really great. To me the amount of information that is passed around just to help one another is awesome.

This must be the only forum that is doing this sort support because I cannot seem to any others anymore (haven't really looked because I'm busy trying to make a living).

What really makes me chuckle, is when someone goes to the trouble of signing up and ask a question without leaving important information like the model number or a picture of the problem image.

I'm just waiting for the day someone posts "Sup. This machine don't work"

    OK.

    Rant over.

Kind of a "end users disguised as techs^^" best of

Not much of a difference compared to customers calling in a "broken" MFP - some even refuses to answer some check back questions. Not great to prep yourself to fix something. Seems some folks like to see their techs multiple times^^ impossible, proper work preparation.

If I had to pay someone for the knowledge that I've gained on this site, it would be a large sum of money. Love this place and the members. There are many kind people on here.

Then there are the customers, like hospitals, that are located an hour drive or more from your shop that have 20+ machine at their location and call in with 1 problem machine. When you get there you find out it is 4 or 5 machines down.

Yeah you shouldn't visit those without a camouflage suit and work quietly under the radar otherwise you become a person of interest

That's also the kind of customer your disposition department should know about that you can write off the assigned tech for that day^^

One of the wonderful things about these cloud machines...I can look up a but-ton of info before going onsite and can check all the machines at the customer location before as well...Probably one of the best things copier engineers have done for us...all the other things they have done ...not so much.
