Update from U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro: "Hi everyone, it's Judge Jeanine. I'm here in D.C. and it is Friday, August the 22nd. Last night, 40 criminal arrests, 5 guns seized as part of the surge of President Trump's attempt to make D.C. safe and beautiful, and it brings us to a total of 719 arrests since the President decided that he was going to bring in all of our federal partners to work with the Metropolitan P.D., and it brings us up to 91 guns that have been taken off the street with the additional five from last night. 91 guns that cannot be used now to shoot or harm other people. The best part about all this is when you talk to the people who live in D.C., they're comfortable going to dinner, they're comfortable going for a stroll. The show of force by President Trump is making the quality of life better for the people in the district. And you know, I want to remind you that this pretty much began with the attack on that ex-DOGE person who was working at the White House who was, as part of an attempted carjacking, pretty much beaten to a pulp. Well, I got news on that front as well. The two 15-year-olds out of the eight or ten that attacked the ex-DOGE staffer and his woman friend that he was with have been released from the family court, and they have been told that they are now on a curfew. And this is exactly what I'm talking about. This is why I want jurisdiction of these cases because as a prosecutor, it's time to prosecute these individuals so they get and understand the consequences of what they have done. In the meantime, we are now eight days without a homicide in the district. That is pretty stunning. We have 101 homicides so far this year, and for the last five or six months, we've had at least one homicide a week, and we haven't had any for the last eight days. Now, why do you think that is? Do you think that what President Trump is doing is having a positive effect? Because I do."โ€‹
I'm in total agreement with Judge Jeanine Pirro.

It works but you're too dumb to get it. If there's more than one knife drawer the sharpest knife depends on which drawer we're talking about. I'm much too smart for you, son.

Democrats' worst nightmare: DC street vendors THANKING President Trump for deploying the National Guard

Interviewer: You're obviously like a street vendor here. Have you noticed a difference since the National Guard has been federalized? Has it impacted tourism?

Vendor: Uh, let's see. The army guys, like them, they cool. They don't care. Uh, they just want violent crimes to come to an end. But like, these guys, they've been cool with me. They let me do my thing, man. They don't really care about the waters. It's not really the waters that's the problem, it's the violent crime that they're here for.

Interviewer: Yeah. And it looks like they've done a great job here 'cause what, nine days now consecutively with no homicides?

Vendor: Yeah. They been taking a lot of guns off the streets.

Interviewer: Do you think as a business here that obviously relies on tourism, do you think that that's gonna help tourism? It's gonna attract more people in here like that and whatnot?

Vendor: Yeah, itโ€™s a more safe place to come to. National Guardโ€™s here, more people wanna come out, have fun. It don't affect me 'cause I'm not a criminal. I sell the water and go home.

Interviewer: There you go. Doing your thing.โ€‹
More to come as I get them.

Of course you do. She's totally incompetent, just like everyone else in trumpty dumpty's cabinet. And she one of at least two raging alcoholics as well.

.... untrue! There were two murders in DC last week plus it is not uncommon for DC to have multi weeks per year with no murders.

Maybe it's time to add some basic facts to this conversation. This article shows how dishonest trumpy is with the crime statistics he is touting.

If the president's recent escalation was an attempt to goad Democrats into declaring that crime isnโ€™t a problem, they did not disappoint him.
