Just like all income tax, it is a bracket. So, math lesson if the day. $57000 - 27% is $41610. $1000-42% is $580. Now add those two together and you get $42190.

First off, I highly doubt that you've ever made a high wage in your life.

Second, let's look at the actual numbers.

            Here you go, sport.

How much taxes do you pay in Denmark?

In Denmark, the average single worker faced a net average tax rate of 35.4% in 2021, compared with the OECD average of 24.6%. In other words, in Denmark the take-home pay of an average single worker, after tax and benefits, was 64.6% of their gross wage,

Even you can understand that. Wait a minute....

Wow. You really can't admit when you made a mistake, can you?

              That's sad.

Anyway, let's get back to the corruption of the republican party. Okay?

Someone making $58000 would bring home $42190

So, shit THAT out you ass. Hahaha

PS. You aren't equipped to offend me.
$42190 would be the after tax amount for someone making $57,794.52 paying 27% tax. At $58,000 the rate becomes 42% and the after tax amount would be $33,640. So it you are living in Denmark and are making just under $58,000 better hope you don't get a raise that put at or above $58,000.

So, the first $57k is taxed at 27%. Anything above $57k is taxed at the higher rate.

                          I also found this.

Denmark Residents Income Tax Tables in 2022: Income Tax Rates and Thresholds (Annual)
Tax Rate Taxable Income Threshold 12.12% Income from kr0.00 to kr544,800.00
15% Income from kr544,800.01 and above
