Sorry you clearly don't completely understand the issue in Florida most insurance companies do and have suggested fixes but the Repubicains have done little to correct the problem.

Again the Repubicains solution is do nothing but banning books seems to be a priority

Seems you're mad at your governor for banning a book which has nothing to do with insurance rates. I don't even know what the book is or is or about and do not care, but let me guess, it has something to do with gay, queer or transgender issues and not allowing a minor under the age 18 to view the book or have it in public schools. If that is the case good for him.

Let's assume I own an insurance company and I have two clients call for homeowners insurance A) Florida resident vs. B) Georgia resident. Florida is a super risky area prone to MAJOR natural disasters such as the strongest recorded hurricane, floods, sink holes, etc., I would not insure the Florida resident because of those issues or if I did, knowing they are going to get hit by another CAT 5 hurricane it would be pricey because I would assume, and history can speak for itself, that I am going to have to pay out next hurricane season and my losses would far exceed my profit, so I would be more apt to insure the Georgia resident because there experience far less natural diesters there. It's not a partisan issue, it's a monetary issue that it nothing more.
If you feel its a partisan issue just because your governor is a republican and your insurance rates are higher because of it, give us some examples for the laws that are causing that and who exactly created those laws. I'm sure being hit by the largest recorded hurricane in history and a multitude of others has nothing to do with it.

If bsm2 was really concerned about insurance rates, he would be talking to HIS state legislatures, House and Senate, or does he not vote.

He could tell them to pass an Excess Profits Tax on the Insurance Companies like Democrat ran California just did on our oil industry. Or create a state funded and required Hurricane Insurance similar to the flood insurance and earthquake insurance again here in California. But then the Florida population would end up having to pay higher taxes in order to fund said.

Hahahahaha. If you are an example of "open mind" then I'm good. You can't even condemn trumpy for entertaining two very vocal anti-Semites. And you can't even admit all of your information sources of choice lied to you about the 2020 election. You are an example of the opposite of an open mind Slimeslop.

That's a doozy right there. You're the same guy that can't admit that Canada is having a healthcare crisis. Yeah, you're good. Good and brainwashed.
