Democrats cut 280 million from Medicare.

Also, social security is going bankrupt. Rick Scott wants to preserve Social Security.

About a year ago. On the other hand, you talk about things that Trump did 4, 5 and 10 years ago. Your hypocrisy knows no limits

FactCheck.org said your statement was false.

Even the liberal Washington Post gave the statement FOUR PINOCCHIO's and says that it is poltical trope. But the same B.S. is spewed EVERY election cycle by Democrats to sow fear. Read it:

So instead we should continue on with tax and spend like a drunk sailor?

We should continue with 8+% percent inflation? And high gas prices despite depleting our strategic petroleum reserve?

News flash, - the number of major companies laying off tens of thousands of people should alert you to the fact that the economic turmoil is already here.

                    Be prepared.

Re: Republicans want to Cut Social Security

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone thinks social security (or any government program similar) is a good idea. If a private concern tried to start something with the same rules as social security they'd get shut down because it's a Ponzi scheme. It's especially bad since people who contribute little to nothing to the program get to collect for various disabilities, including drug addiction, meaning people who do work and contribute are forced to subsidize those people. Social security should be shut down, the funds that (are supposed to) remain, distributed to those that contributed in proportion to those contributions and people allowed to do their own investing for the future. EVERY government program performs worse than a privately run program of the same nature for several reasons, not the least of which is there is no punishment for government failure, only rewards in the form of more funding to fix the problem they created in the first place. SS is one the few that should have the funds given back to those that contributed, just about every other government program (mostly forms of charity, i.e. food stamp, section 8 housing, welfare in it's may forms) should just be shut down. If a state wants to run such program that would be up to the voters in that state, not forced on everyone by unaccountable politicians and bureaucrats.
