Justin D. 45, died suddenly on December 20, 2022. He was born in St. Petersburg, FL, on January 5, 1978. He is survived by his mother, Lola Lightkep; father, Philip Garrett Sr.; stepmom, Patte Garrett; brothers, Philip Garrett Jr., Matt Garrett, and Steven Lightkep; sisters, Jennifer Ancona and Stephanie Asterita; and many nieces and nephews. May he rest in peace.

JEFFREY MORRIS OBITUARY
Jeffrey Morris Sr., 56, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday January 8, 2023.
Jeffrey was born on May 2, 1966, in Charlottesville, Virginia, to Eddie and Jacqueline Morris.
Jeff grew up in Virginia Beach, where he spent most of his childhood. His family moved back to Greene County in his mid teens. He graduated from technical school as a Mechanic. He went on to work for his father and later in life had his own business as a painter. He loved cars and built many. Jeff loved music, the beach, and a cold beer but what he loved the most was his children and grandchildren. Jeff was known for truly living life to the fullest! Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Morris; his brother, Gregory Morris; and his three children, Cynthia Morris, Jeremy Morris, and Camden Morris.
Jeff is survived by his father, Eddie Morris; his two daughter, Jessica Thomas of Troy, Va., and Amanda and her husband, Jason Zeier, of Palmyra, Va.; his son, Jeffrey Morris and his longtime partner, Victoria Proffit, of Ruckersville, Va.; his 10 grandchildren, Lexie, Cloe, Marybeth, Lacey, Sophia, Noah, Jolee, Lincoln, Noah, and Lana; his brother and sister-in-law, April and David Campbell of Troy, Va.; two nieces, Kayla Campbell and Brayleigh Campbell; nephew, Daniel Campbell; close cousins, Annie, Becky, and Tommy, many more Morris and Shifflett cousins; a special girlfriend, Dora Miller; and Pepper his beloved dog.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, from 6 until 8 p.m. and a funeral service on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, 2 p.m. at Teague Funeral Service in Charlottesville.
Teague Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

The new research points to another factor that puts people at greater risk of dying from COVID-19: party affiliation.

Rosemary Rasch (Umlor) age age 97, of Conklin, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Sunday January 15, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill," sons Dan and Terry; sister Annabell Umlor; son-in-law Ron Knapp, daughter-in-law Robin Rasch; grandson Tyler Meerman and granddaughter Baylor Morgan. She is survived by Chris Knapp, Char Rasch, Steve (Sue) Rasch, Denise (Ron) Ruwersma, Bill Rasch, Chuck (Sue) Rasch, Deb (Dave) Clelland, Julie (Joe) Meerman, Robbi (Steve) VanTimmeren, Jackie Rasch, Gerrie (Mark) Morgan, Marty (Candi) Rasch, 30 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, sister Millie Czurak, Bernie Mcknight, Doris Kline, brother-in-law Leo (Pat) Rasch, sister-in-law Beverly Rasch. Rosie (Apple Grandma) was a true farmer's wife, who loved her family and friends. Rosie enjoyed winters in Florida, spending her time at her cabin in Baldwin, which was her happy place. She stayed active by knitting, gardening, cross-stitching, reading, and picking apples. Her greatest joy in life was her hubby Bill and spending time with her family. The family will receive visitors Wednesday 2 to 8PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Chapel, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday 11AM St. Joseph Wright, where she will repose one hour prior to Mass. Interment St. Joseph Wright Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Lori's Voice or St. Joseph Christian Service Commission will be appreciated.Comment
