I don't know how you couldn't agree since it's quite easy to look up, even for you Skippy😀 1Comment

All I hear are excuses from Biden, Trudeau and you. People are selling blood to pay their energy bill. What are the solutions being offered by Biden and Trudeau? Voters hear no solutions. That's why they are behind in the polls.

Sooooooooo, yes or no? Do you agree the inflation rate has come down substantially from where it was? And since we all know it has and you seem to attribute such fluctuations to whomever is inhabiting the White House, then by simple logic and by applying your own rules, it must be the current inhabitant who did it. ( your rules) You should be singing the praises of the current inhabitant of the White House.Comment

A healthy inflation rate is 2%. Look it up. And finally:
The current U.S. inflation rate is 3.4% for the 12-month period leading up to April 2024. The rate of inflation was up 0.3% in April from the previous month, according to the latest release from the Bureau of Labor Statistics
[1]
. The BLS notes that the indexes for gasoline and shelter contributed over 70% of that monthly uptick. On May 14th, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell also noted that his confidence in inflation slowing is not as high as hoped. The next monthly update will be released Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
A 3.4% inflation rate may not seem like a lot, or as much as the price changes you've noticed at the grocery store. But to put inflation in context over the last few years, consumer price inflation rose 19.32% between January 2020 and April 2024, and particularly high housing costs persist.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

You've already stated that you don't understand inflation. Why do I want to discuss this with an ignoramus? To be sure, inflation isn't the only thing to blame. No. There's also the war on oil by Biden. There's massive rules and regulations that were enacted by Biden.

See! The current inflation rate is waaaaaay down from the 9% it was at awhile back. I'm glad we're on the same page. When are you going to start congratulating the current inhabitant of the White House? You know, because you attribute any fluctuations in the inflation rate to said resident.Comment

Hey, Skippy, you attribute increases in inflation to the resident of the White House so why are you so uncomfortable attributing decreases to inflation to the same person? Honestly, the decrease in said rate is more likely due to interest rate increases by the Fed. Once inflation comes down to a rate they are more comfortable with they will start bringing down the interest rate.Comment
