buddy, it's clearly biased just look at the phrasing. Dictionaries are not supposed to word definitions in that way. i wouldn't expect my own definition to make it into the dictionary. A more appropriate one would be something like "something aligning or complying to left leaning social issues and ideology"

I think the two main issues are that it is presupposing that the facts and issues are important and it does not give proper background to the ideologies consistently behind the term.

No, there are absolutely ideologies behind it. Left wing IS behind the woke movement. Think what you will of the word but it is a leftist thing and the right does push against it. Postmodernism, organized anarchy and socialism/marxism all are adequate terms for the movements behind it. And they push and uphold things such as collective guilt, the group being more important then the individual and etc. Look at what they value in education, especially higher education. Trying to alienate woke from even being a thing is a tactic that means you are too scared to get behind it and support it. Or do you think the woke movement/entity is just some boogeyman with nothing behind it. I don't know how you can say there is no culture war. The left and the right have different values and that's why they are arguing.

I don't think it's a "boogeyman" at all. I think it's an over blown scare tactic used by the right to get their followers angry and scared.
I honestly don't know where "socialism or marxism" fit in there, but it's likely just another scare being fed to you.

To me "woke" is just acknowledging that at some point some people were, and are possibly still, unjustly treated. Certainly not a scary boogeyman.
